Thread Starter
For my column this month, I want to do a piece on faux pas that aren't really faux pas anymore.

Examples:
Wearing brown with black
Wearing white after Labour Day

Can anybody help me think of a few more?

Leggings and skirts

First it was a ridiculous fad, and then everyone starts wearing it as the uniform. Then it becomes acceptable.

I'm still not going to rock it.

I dont understand anymore what IS and what ISNT a faux pas in the lists above

what I dont like now though, are uber tight jeans for men, pointy shoes for men, leggings under skirt, stripes, polka dots paired with stripes, short sleeved shirts for men,and not-plain leather belts.

approx.anything else doesn't shock me
