Natural Bloating/Gas Relief

This is really embarrassing but I was wondering if anyone knew of anything, preferably natural that I could eat or take that reduces bloating and gas. For the last couple of days, I haven't ate anything out of the ordinary but my stomach is bloated as big as a basketball and gassy

I appreciate any ideas/suggestions

beano? You could try the Natural food store in Signal Hill (It's like Sun fare or something...something with a Sun by Benard's )

Unhealthy eating habits, may have something to do with it, which is an easy fix, just start eating more healthy!

OR

Try Ajowan (Ajwain) which is a very effective herb for relieving indigestion flatulence. Also, Mint extracts have excellent carminative and digestive properties which help provide quick natural relief from stomachache, gas and indigestion without any side effects.

Also you may want to try a few drops of Amritdhara to help normalize peristaltic movements (a major cause of stomach discomfort) It is effective in healing stomach bloating and stomach heaviness caused by excessive gas formation.

Hope that helps somewhat.

I will have to try it. Luckily after 3 days, it has finally gone away.

I don't think it would have been my diet because I eat fairly healthy. I was eating my usual diet lean protein/fish with vegetables, fruit, lean dairy and whole grains when it started. It just baffled me and will remain a mystery. I wonder if it was hormonal because it is close to "that time of the month"

Glad you are feeling better! Sounds to me it's just that time of the month my dear!

The bloating is pretty much from water retention, which for a ton of women is simply from hormonal changes of our menstrual cyc. Some women I know, have weight changes of 3-6 pounds before and after their cycle- which is just pure water weight! freakin nuts I tell ya!

To help, just drink more water, not less, as well as reduce sugar, starches and salt before and during your thingy. Exercise may also help, as well as increasing your calcium intake.

Take care.
