Thermal Protector Help

So I totally fried my hair from straightening it everyday. Now that I got a few inches off I want to protect it. Do any of you have suggestions for good thermal protectors? (Preferably not too expensive) Thanks!

I just bought some TIGI Control Freak Straightening Serum.....it is more of a straightener/frizz fighter but it also acts as a buffer against mechanical heat. I have really dry, coarse hair from straightening every day as well, and after I use these stuff, my hair feels so soft and silky. I only use it on the middle to the ends of my hair though, cuz it makes my roots look greasy if I put it on near the top of my hair....

I love the one i use - it's Kenra "Hot Spray" , it protects well and it smells sooo good... but don't use it before curling , only straightening, because the curls won't hold (on me at least)
