Update: they replied to my email and told me that apparently it was a common problem when people ordered from my country but they didn't know why... The money seems to have been refunded though so no harm. They said I should just try again with another credit card.

Of course now they're not replying to my email about the 30% off DailyCandy coupon that doesn't work anymore because my info is in the system already... And I don't want to shop without the discount,
