A jacket poll: not quite as funny as a shoe poll.

Poll Results: What should I do?

  • 17% (5)
Go ahead and buy it from S|Sense.
  • 10% (3)
Hold off, it might be on Revolve soon.
  • 51% (15)
I don't like the jacket at all, don't buy it.
  • 20% (6)
    Post another shoe poll.

I have had my eye on this jacket for a while. It is $320 at Diesel, and $239 on S|Sense.

I am desperately wanting it to show up on another site that I can use a coupon on, like Revolve, since S|Sense has a dearth of coupons.

Diesel Jobanni Black Jacket - ssense.com

How should I proceed?

haha

well NAV'smuID#21, if you read your wiki a little more carefully, you'd know that exposing ones rear is conscidered a very friendly gesture in baby cutiemundi play.

hmm, that is rather astute of you, dee-oso. upon further examination, the baby genet does indeed appear to be gazing at the coatimundi's anus; the coati (short for "coatimundi") even appears to be lifting his tail for the genet's convenience!

I voted: "I don't like the jacket at all, don't buy it."

If it's an absolutely must have item, splurged. You don't let a "good" thing pass you by. The jacket quite frankly is not the most appealing specimen I've seen. I'm not a huge fan of biker collars; the neck is overly exposed.

On visual examination, I do not believe the jacket will maintain its shape even with proper care. It looks thin, frail, and flimsy. Something about those breast pockets radiates off a bad vibe.

Pass it on to the next fella and find something purely magnificent.

What is the material the jacket is made of? It's nice, but looks really thin and more like a shirt to me when buttoned. For me to spend that much on a jacket it'd have to be solid wool and probably like Marc by Marc Jacobs or a similar line (though I guess Diesel is comparable). I recommend you see it in person first....

holy fuck that is a lot of coatimundis
LOL avatar... Well, Diesel stuff is usually WAY better in person, it will make your *legs* look longer and size small is the one size that always sells out, so you might be able to get it on sale in a bit... for medium +.
However, good god man, you live in Chicago, not So Cal, is it warm enough?

this might be a bit off-topic, but i'm not too crazy about the jacket. i don't think it's ugly or anything and it looks to be of really high quality, but design-wise, it just seems like every other military-inspired jacket out there that has epaulets and buttons everywhere just for the sake of being military (another reason why g-star jackets are so hit and miss). from personal experience, if a jacket only has the novelty of a theme going for it, as opposed to the novelty of brilliant design, it might lose appeal for you in a year or less. i think you might be able to find other re-interpreted military jackets. there's other brands to compare, e.g. mike & chris, trovata, and nicholas k.

i actually love the jacket and say buy it at s|sense now. it will most likely be $320 at revolve IF it shows up, and 30% off is not much different than the $239 cad.

for what it's worth... I like the jacket. BUT it looks wrong on the model, it's too small. He looks, just silly.

Life is short, buy it, if it makes you happy.
