Does it really matter in the scheme of things if billbonesknows saw my msg, emailed me, and we had a successful transaction? No! Does it affect the site in any negative way? Absolutely not. In fact, the outcome would be positive! I'd probably register and pay the fee! But at this rate..
Rude and irrational? You are acting like a complete jerk

I asked you once politley as you are new, I informed you of the rules and you still decided to break them. That was your choice, and then you have the balls to call me out on it and tell me to relax?

Follow the rules or leave, its that simple. And dont you sit there and call me irrational or rude when YOU chose to break the rules after I already warned you

And no we can not allow sales for people who are not full memebrs outside the site. What happens if you get sold a fake pair outside the site, guess who comes back crying to us telling us we are at fault

What's up. I was suprised to see this thread. 72D is an awesome wash, but I rarely hear anyone else who likes it. This is me in my Viker 72D. I have worn the about 15 times without washing. The material has become really soft.

Let me know what you think!

Just wanted to add another pic. This picture accentuates the wash a little more.

Thanks for all the info billbones. I don't let my 72Ds get out too often just because I'm trying to keep the lap creases. They're so damn good when you get 'em off the rack!

72 Y

hey Im not sure if you guys have seen these or not, but the color and creases are like the ones mentioned for 72 D if not more creases and darker color, I think most of the difference is the fact that this come all wrinkled and distress, this are one of my favorite pair of Zathans right now. Despite the distressing the when I first got them, they were really hard ..but I love them.

It looks much better in your worn pics then it does on websites. The blue doesnt look as deep and the crinkles dont come out as well..

^^ It's about time 72D caught fire! For some reason the wash got a tepid reception... maybe because everybody's written-off Zathan to begin with.

Lucky you, they're on sale!

Artificialwings...THANKS...I've got about 30-40 wears around now and am looking forward to more wallet wear for sure...the rigidity at this point has left the lap / knee area fully...only left in the boot part of the leg really...

don't like the manufactured crinkles in the thighs. Doesn't look real whatsoever. Tacky.

if you people are so into breaking in jeans, why not get some dry selvage and do it the right way?

billbones, I live in miami too. What area do you live in?

That's the worst Zathan fit I've seen in a while, looks more like a Kuratt!
Pretty nice wash. Gonna check out how they fit at the Diesel store today and maybe pick up a pare from jj denim. :P
post #98 of 358
jamleem. They aren't Zathans. They are Viker 72d's.

@Casiotech: I can tell you that from wearing these jeans 60 something times, they do break in. And they break in quite nicely. My pair is incredibly soft now and has cooled off to a lighter shade of blue and a much better less nuthugging fit. I thought about buying some dry selvage but honestly, the fit of the diesels is much more flattering than any of the nudies that I've seen.

Yeah I got turned off by nudies after I found out a Woman designs them. Not to say I don't own a bunch of them.

You would think a rock star denim label would be designed by some burly Scandinavian man but no..

Anyways, the Diesels smelled funny in the store. Were they starched? The best diesel (closest to dry) would be my favorite 88z wash. They are a 1 rinse and are easy to break in.
