too many lap dances?? no that does suck, if you havent had them that long and you bought them at a diesel store, maybe, just maybe, and we're talking minute chance if you talk to the right person at the right time, they might possibly do something for you. you never know, til you try....

I have a hard time believing this because I've worn mine nearly 40 times and they are way to damn rigid to "rip"...they do soften, but to the softness of an 86T which I don't think will rip...I say they don't rip not because I'm a skeptic, but as a hopeful because it would be ideal (atleast for Grondie and myself) to see that the 72D is infact a progress jean...I need to see pics because if they are ripping that would be pretty badass...artificialwings has worn his 60+ times without washing and his seem to do what mine are doing...

ok i worn mine more than 70 times for sure and thats 8 hours a day. Every day to work i wear them, surprised ? well if i love my diesels thats what happens, and 72D is my first decent dark wash. They just getting softer and dirtier, uch how long will i resist not to wash them. who will be first to wash them ? : )

Yea who the hell has washed these? What are the results?

got mine in today. gorgeous wash, i don't see these ripping though. they're stiff, but i can tell that they'll get soft after a few years. we'll see how long i can go without washing them.

^damn bro...I've got some ugly oil stains or some shit on mine (as seen in the pics I posted), but they aren't visible in person only by the flash...but I'm kind of anal and its kind of annoying...
dishwashing soap is good for oil/grease stains

^haha...first few wears are rough...but after that you'll LOVE THEM...I can barely wear my softer denim now because it just doesn't feel substantial enough...
dude, my thoughts exactly. my other jeans just feel so flimsy. the 72d worn in feels ridiculously nice. i'm thinking about washing and just hang drying. any thoughts on the best way to do this? no detergent? cold soak? hot soak? 45 minutes? hmm..

^if anything cold soak bro and let air dry...let me know what happens if you do...you'll be among the first to wash...(I'd still say try not to wash )

Regarding the tightness of 72D: I bought these in my normal size, and could barely squeeze in 'em. I was thinking to myself "I hope these give, or life is gonna be miserable in these." But now, after about 10 wears, I actualy catch myself thinking I should have sized down!

So suffice to say, the 72D wear-in factor is ridiculous. They go from stiff as a board to ultra-soft. I'm really curious to know what would have happned had I sized down. Not that I regret buying these to size, but it might have been interesting.

Sad to see the lap creases go though. They're almost completely flat now. Starting to think about getting a backup pair... but that's just crazy talk... OR IS IT?
they're just pants dude.. save ur money for something better. I regret buying 23 pairs of jeans. I only wear like 3 of them regularly, 5 are too big now, 3 don't fit my body type and some i just wear occasionally. I got over this jeans craze, can't sell l28 though

^TO GRONDIE: My brother got a FRESH NEW PAIR TODAY and wow I was soooooooooooooooooooooo jealous...I've worn mine nearly 50 times I'd say and the creases are COMPLETELY flat and my bro's looks so fresh and even a bit darker...damn him...I'm thinking second pair, but honestly NOT WORTH IT as nice as this jean is I think it better to buy some raws or a new wash...NO point in buying a second pair because as I remember correctly the jeans start flattening after like 5 wears and once you wear them about 15 times they are basically totally flat...and anything after 30-40 wears they're so flat a blind person couldn't tell you where the creases were...there are just some random whiskers...

^TO SAIFZ: yea I realize having 20+ pairs of jeans that cost minimum of $200 a piece seems ridiculous...but every time I sell one I end up buying two more...and I only wear a few...I like the collection or maybe its really just an addiction...
