Ugg boots

I have a few questions regarding UGG boots. How do they fit? I'm not sure if I would need to size up or down-I've heard various things. Also, are there people available on HF to confirm authentictiy if I buy from Ebay?

They feel a bit snug at first but they feel bigger after you have worn them a few times and smushed down the fleece lining.

I sized up since I wear socks with mine.

you're supposed to size down 1 but you don't have to...it'll be fine either way...i got my regular size and it's oh so comfyyyyy

Oh ok Maybe I should try a pair on in the store before I buy from Ebay.

I can recommend alamo shoes as an authentic Ugg Australia seller. Hes a bit rude in emails but shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't need to communicate with him!

I had a problem with House-of-Designs on ebay the boots they sell are fake.If you arent sure about the seller buy from a reputable store or from the Ugg Australia site.Its not worth the hassle of getting fakes as paypal and ebay couldnt give a crap.

I had the same thing with House of designs-definitely fake, although I did get a refund. Alamo shoes are OK though, I have just received a pair from them and they are authentic.

xxxfordiexxx How did you get a refund? was it through paypal and did you have to send the boots back? Did you leave house-of-designs a neg? Sorry for all the questions.
I sent my boots to deckers who told me they are fake and they are sending me a real pair instead.

if you are say a true 7 in most shoes and boots, you can size down to a 6 in UGG if you plan on wearing them w/o socks.... if you are a 7.5 in most shoes and boots, get a 7 in UGG no sock or not. this is for the regular ugg styles, the ones without a side zipper.

the ones with zipper are kinda structured and you might not want to size down unless you're wear half sizes.

Hi

I just emailled her and told her I thought the boots were fake. They arrived (I had two pairs from her, one for a friend and one for me) I thought they'd be fine as she had a lot of positive feedback. The two boxes were just held together with brown parcel tape with the postage label stuck to them, so they were quite battered by the time they arrived. Without even having anything to compare them to I knew they were bad quality and fake. She told me they weren't fake, they were just made in Australia rather than China but I could have a refund if I wasn't happy. She did refund me the whole amount I paid but it still cost me £44 to send the damn things back. I should've negged her really, but I didn't because at the time I thought her story may be true so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I've since found out that only the really old Uggs are made in Australia. I've found these guides to be quite helpful in my search for authentic ones :-

What you need to remember is that an Ugg is a sheepskin boot- you can buy Uggs that are genuine 'sheepskin boots' but are not the Ugg Australia brand-which as you know, are made by Deckers and are the ones most faked.

I'm pleased to hear that deckers are sending you a real pair-that is really nice of them and good customer service and yes, the refund was through paypal. Please make sure you neg House of Designs (although you'll most l;ikely get one back) I wish I did now.

I sized down and they fit perfect. I got a pair of uptown espresso from the rack for $129.

i wear a TTS 7 and bought a 6 and i can still wear them with socks. I bought them at berkstore.com they have tan and chestnut right now i think.

O wow, I had no idea House-of-Designs were fake, she has excellent feedback, and I ALMOST bought a pair off of her....almost. Good thing I looked here...

Are there any other sellers that sell authentic uggs on eBay? So alamo shoes sells authentics? Any other sites etc?
