I have at least somewhat muscular legs as well. Most designer denim will fit at least kind of tight in the thighs. And then its a question of how tight do you actually want your pants, how tight can you stand it, etc. One option is to get used to wearing tighter jeans. Its not so bad after you get used to it. I think that when you have muscular legs, though, it is possible to get the pants too tight on the legs, so I think the question really is "where do you draw the line on how tight is too tight."
But anyway, I second the recommendations for SFAM relaxed if you want to avoid a tight fit. Also, Earnest Sewn Hemingway is a good style. There are probably some other brands with relaxed cuts, but they're not really on my radar screen.
