Are these work appropriate?

I just got these but I don't know if I can pull it off with Express Editor pants for work. Thoughts? I'll be working part time at an office and at a desk all the time so no one will really see them anyway. But I usually try to stick to a 2" rule for work

Totally! Cute but professional with a hot heel! Just hope you don't walk around much. That would hurt my feet. Then again, I gave flat feet. :P

I'm flat foot too, so I know your pain.

Sure whynot? A boot isnt as bad as a heel in my opinion, and a great price too

I'll probably get flak for this, but whatever.

Are you planning to move up in this job? If so, I would go for something more conservative. If not, I don't see why not.

I agree with Annie.

Depending on how formal your office is, they might be a little bit much. Do you deal with any clients?

If you wear them with longer pants, they should be fine.

I work in a professional setting where everyone is looking to move up pretty quickly. I have worn 3-4'' heels to work with professional skirts or dress pants and button down shirts and no one has given me any crap for it (and believe me, if they have a problem with what you are wearing, you'll know about it). In fact, I even run new shoe purchases by my dad to see what he thinks (he has worked in a professional setting for forever) and he has never once shot down my shoes based on height. It also depends on (IMO) the thickness of the heel... a really thin heel can look less professional unless the shoe has some other feature to detract from the heel itself (if that makes sense). I think in terms of height these shoes will be ok. BUT there is something that seems to make the shoes less professional with the hidden platform. What line of work are you going into?

I'll just end this unnecessarily long post with what my job told us at training - if you question what you have on, then it's probably best you don't wear it.

I think they're fine! If you're wearing long pants why does it matter??

I bought these:
Franco Sarto 'Mission' Boot - Boots - Nordstrom.com

it's a shorter heel and they are COMFY plus I have another pair of Franco Sartos that I've had for atleast 7 years and they're still in excellent condition!

I agree with this. I used to work in an office and this is what everyone else would do as well.

Wow, I mean this in the nicest way possible, but I'm glad I teach college and can wear pretty much anything I want at work, including Havaianas flip flops now that I'm pregnant and elephant-footed
