Oh if there is a God these will be authentic! I am SO glad that I found this site! I have been reading so many posts trying to find these particular jeans and I just can't find them! If someone could please let me know if these are authentic I would very appreciate it!

I wanted to add the measurements of these as well. The inseam of these jeans is 34". I have noticed that in many fakes the inseam is much shorter. The quality of these jeans is awesome and the threading is fabulous. They sit low on the hips and they really fit fabulously. I hope they are authentic! *crossing fingers*

I tried to post as many pics as I could. I saw that members were always asking for coin pocket pics, and others so I posted them to help along the process. THANK YOU!!!!!!

Hey there! I'm not 100% sure, but I suspect that those are fake. First off, I've never seen ANY authentic TRs in stores with crystals. Someone might have added them after manufacture though so that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Then there's the fact that the style on the tag is "10-503" but the back says 'Joey.' 503 is what the older womens joeys said... Do any ladies who have a 'Joey' back tag in this wash have inner tags which say 10-503? There's also the 'squarish-ness' of the back flaps. They COULD be like really really old but I'm leaning toward fakes. Anyone else wanna weigh in on this?

The faded buddha inside pockets look EXACTLY like my fake ones...my real ones are very crisp and clear

I would say fake - I have never seen an auth pair of crystal pocket TRs. (i have posted asking about them before, and i think the concensus is that they dont exist.) Also, like staluckey said, the auth ones dont have faded Buddahs on the pockets. They could probably fade if you washed them a bunch, but Since these are brand new, they shouldnt be faded like this. They look like pretty good fakes, though.

Boy, if fake, those are really good fakes! Agreed about the inside pocket print. Also, on the back tag, can you see the Buddha's four fingers clearly defined? It looks kinda blocky to me.

Yep, Jetta you're right. TRs don't come with crystals, although I wouldn't rule out the fact that some people will customize authentic TRs with crystals.

they are 100% FAKE!! Sorry but looks like you got taken! The buddhas fingers are wrong. Real ones have four distinct fingers not two fat rectangle shaped ones.

Yeah I'm still leaning towards fake... Altho they do look really hot on you. If you want some real ones they're a bit cheaper here in the states. Wait about 3-4 months and I can probably get you some 50% off...

I agree the Budda fingers look weird, but I did see some (I thought) authentic crystal TRs being sold by a boutique. Do the crystal TRs really not exist?

I gotta tell you - they make me feel so sexy. I think that they are definitely some pretty good fakes. I'd definitely like to get my hands on a pair of real ones to compare, but to spend upwards of $200 - $300 on jeans... well... I don't splurge on clothes very often since I have a 2 year old and a husband to take care of! :P

That's cool if you like them but whatever you do -DONT WASH THEM EVER!

My fakes looked good too until I washed them and the stictching came all apart. So just FEBREEZE like a Mofo!!

IMO, just to add, tbey are very fake. The top stitching is not bold enough, red tacking stitches are very thin, in addition to the pocket linings not right, and the other things said. I also don't think TR ever made a crystal pocket. Since these fit you well & you like them, enjoy them. I saw a girl wearing fake TR"s, & they fit her really well, and looked good on her too.

I can't believe how good some fakes have gotten - I am usually pretty good at spotting fake TRs by the awful whiskering most of them have, but I would probably think these are real based on the front pic (you look good in them btw I understand not wanting to pay $200-$300, but dont give up hope! I have gotten 3 pairs of new, auth TRs on ebay for around $80 each.

I got confirmation from True Religion that they DO NOT make jeans with Crystals on the pockets! So, there you have it!

Thanks for all of the help. I'll definitely stick around and maybe one day I'll be able to spot fakes! Like I said before though, if it's just the stitching and the Buddha tag on the back (blocky fingers)... who's gonna know but me and you?

I wanted to say that goyagal listed a pair of her authentics. The tag on the interior tags with the exterior that says Joey. The interior says 503 just like mine did, so that should answer your question blm14.

In actuality, it is NOT just those things that spot fakes. Invariably the quality of the denim, construction, design, other materials is most inferior to authentic, no matter WHAT brand. Stitching is telltale as well as trademarked horseshoe pockets on TR. Washes are not consistent with what they are faking as well as many other things.
And as a PS...more then just you may know they are fakes! IMO of course..

That is what the email I got from True Religion said today. I asked if they had ever produced a crystal pocket because I loved True Religion and loved the crystals and wanted them together. The response was:

Well, you may change your mind about fake jeans once you throw them in the wash and the jeans fall apart or when the jeans fall apart after a few wears. I don't think fakes could ever replicate the quality of authentic merchandise...although I think the consensus here is that the quality of even authentic TRs is nothing to write home about...
