Am I the only that thinks Louboutins are overrated?

I probably am going to make some enemies from saying it, but I honestly dont understand what the huge draw is. Granted I have seen a few GORGEOUS pairs, most look so simple to me. I guess to each his own.

Yes, you are the only one.

ditto.

I think the appeal is in the height of the heel and the support. Apparently, they're much more comfortable than they should be with that heel height.

I never used to understand the appeal with designer shoes until I tried some Louboutin's and Weitzman's on the other day. I can never find shoes that fit my narrow width, but I was the first time ever that I found shoes that fit like a glove.

I think they have a nice classy look, but I cannot spend that much money and WALK all over them *dies* It would be like me strapping handbags to my feet because I try to keep my stuff looking as new as possible.

I would probably buy the Chanel Cambon ballet flats before a pair of CL Prives.

Is that how ALL louboutins and weitzmans are? i tried on a pair of weitzmans at off 5th when i was in jersey, but there was no size marking. i assumed they were narrow or A or whatever.

they fit me PERFECTLY! i have the same problem as you.

ditto, i can't justify paying that much for a pair of shoes only to kill them by using them. they're very pretty, but i couldn't buy a pair unless they're massively on sale.

My sentiments exactly!

I think they're hawt as hell, but I cannot justify the price. Gah, I'll just shut up because gymangel summed up everything nicely.

BTW, this is coming from a gal that dies for shoes for $20-$40 bucks at Payless. They're cheap lookalikes and I don't care when I trash them on weekends when I get way too drunkety-drunk-drunk.

Hahaha I like the comparison of walking in the CL'S compared to handbags. Good stuff

^I draw the line at $250 for shoes. And the ones I have over $150, I have yet to step out of the house in them. It just breaks my heart....LOL. I guess I'm a freak to think that way about shoes!

Louboutins....I think I love them more than my entire denim collection.
Yup. If my house were burning down, my CL collection is what I'd save.

The ones I tried on were a size 37 and a B width if that. I am still shocked though that I found shoes that fit because of my narrow, tiny feet.

2venus I'm with you. I get super excited to find nice payless shoes too! I usually get compliments on them too.

I have never spent over $100 on a pair of shoes that weren't runners or skate shoes. Isn't that terrible???

I need new boots

I totally agree! I've tried on a few pair, just to see what the hype was. After trying them on, I still don't get it... especially not for the price.

I love skater shoes
i don't know if these are skater shoes, but i want the converse high-tops that say chuck taylor all over them. they are sexy.
^Skaters are like the opposite of converse, skater shoes are super fat/wide looking and almost never tied. Converse are slim and usually always tied up except the slides.
