Has anyone gone to a Kwik-E-Mart?

So to promote the new Simpsons movie being released this summer, a select few 7-Eleven stores were turned into "Kwik-E-Marts." I was just wondering if anyone's visited and what does it look like?

Kwik-E-Mart Vancouver, BC

Why would they put it out in Coquitlum? Maybe I'll take a detour on my next trip down.

there isn't one near where I live, but my 7eleven is selling krusty cereal, buzz cola, squishie cups and tons of Simpson merchandise.

yeah coquitlam is a retarded place to put the only canadian kwik-e-mart. My vote would've been for the one on the corner of Alberni & Bute (i think that's the intersection) or the one on Homer (what a fitting street name as well). P.S. - i think only B.C. people know what i'm talking about.

^ Yeah although apparently the lines and traffic are crazy at the Kwik-E-Mart, so maybe it's good that they didn't put them downtown anywhere.

there are only 11 in the US, theres one 10 mins away from my house but i haven't gone yet

apparently the krusty-o's are just generic fruit loops.

hahahahhaaaaa
I want this in Australia. We have loads of 7elevens (complete with Indian staff who sound like Apu) so I can't understand why we don't have them turning into Quik E Marts.

Dang!

I also find it hard to believe the above comment that the lines and traffic are so much heavier. Does changing a sign into some Simpson's gimmick really have that great an effect on US citizens? Wouldn't work that way here, so maybe that's why the expense to do it has not been taken.

you'd be surprised.

On another note, the preview for the Simpson's movie was awesome. Can't wait to go see it!

Seems way over-hyped. Maybe I'll go...

I went to another 7-11 looking for some buzz cola, but they were sold out already. They're gonna have the Kwik-E-Mart for a whole month, so maybe I'll make a trip there when the hype dies down.

All the stuff is on eBay for a lot of dough

damn the closest one to me is in DC. My boyfriend would have gone nuts over that.

there's one in mountain view

and no Duff beer? WTF?

revolve, the 7-11 on 33rd & Knight for sure has Buzz Cola ($0.99) and the pink frosted donuts ($1.49), I was just there a couple of hours ago. The cola tastes like PC stuff, imo.

lopez_lova, I dunno about the Thurlow location...too many bums, imho. The Kwik-E-Mart needs parkin spots

mgoose is right, the line up at the Kwik-E-Mart is nuts, even in the morning!

My friend came to visit me in Mtn. View and told me that there was one right down the street from where I work. Which totally explained why, two weeks ago, there were 4 people dressed in elaborate Simpsons costumes standing outside 7-11.

Someone at work had a box of Krusty-O's on their desk, pretty funny. I think I'll check it out later this week.

It's completely understandable if people don't know whether he's talking about the movie or the store itself.

Always wondered where Springfield really is? Does anyone really know? Well the folks at 7-Eleven do – in fact they’ve been working very closely with Apu Nahasapeemapetilon.

Burbank, CA Chicago, IL Dallas, TX Denver, CO Lake Buena Vista, FL/Orlando, FL Las Vegas, NV/Henderson, NV Los Angeles, CA New York City, NY San Francisco, CA/Mountain View, CA Seattle, WA Vancouver, BC/Coquitlam, BC Washington, DC/Bladensburg, MD
Seriously, no Toronto store? Cannot believeth!

I would sell my parents for a squishee right now.
Wow how lame. The squishees are just ordinary slurpees in a different cup. I thought they would have some different flavours or something like that.

That'd probably work out well for you if Laurie didn't ban all of the potential buyers.
So did they put any Kwik-E-Marts in actual towns called Springfield? Would seem logical.
Had a Squishee today, good times.

There's one somewhere on the southside... I dunno if I want to make a trip down there though...
