Fake MAC Seller

Thread Starter
First I would like to say that you have an awesome board. I didn't know about it until last night when I was performing a search. I did go through the rules and I hope the post that I'm about to make will not violate board policy. If it does, please let me know and I will modify or delete it.

This is a copy of entire thread about a seller who sells fake high end cosmetics on ebay and her own website. Ebay removed the trhead but did nothing to the seller. After a long hiatus, the seller is back to selling items full force and people need to be warned so they will not get taken.

Here is the original thread from Ebay:

i was looking on google looking for some info on how to spot fake mac, and one of the search results i clicked on led me to this site

http://www.ioffer.com/i/MAC-ROSE-PIGMENT-BRAND-NEW-IN-BOX-HOT-ITEM-14051923

on that page a seller by the name of mamasmarket2 posted this:
"I am looking for a wholesale supplier of Mac cosmetics. I would need to buy 500 to 1000 items per month. I do not want cosmetic bags, brushes, or applicators. I would need eyeshadows, refills, lip gels, lipsticks, liners for lips and eyes, powder, foundation, mascara, nail polish, etc. I do not care if the items are fake as long as they look real. For full size unboxed items I would pay $4 each, for full size boxed items $5 each."

i cant believe someone would even say that, and then i started thinking what if this person is selling on ebay also so i googled the name mamasmarket2 and sure enough they do sell on ebay. under the name awholesalecosmeticssource.

is the world becoming so morally bankrupt that people are willing to scam others on products (the real brand name products)that only cost around $20 anyways. wtf?

OMG. Unreal-- Thanks for the heads-up, eBayers like that need to be outed & booted off.

i think a bunch of people should do it, it's just wrong to do that people like me try to get deals on mac on ebay and i would hate to spend mac prices on fake crap-mac

40% of all MAC items on eBay are fake. There are hundreds of MAC brush "sets" that are absolutely fake and are sold every day by people thinking they are real. There are dozens of sellers from Hong Kong & Thailand selling MAC eyeshadow sets and putting real MAC names on them. These fake sellers are getting very smart and the items are 99% the same, hard to tell by even me sometimes (I own every MAC product!). Only by from sellers with a ton of feedback....DO NOT BUY FROM NEW SELLERS or Sellers from Thailand/Hong Kong without proof of authenticity!

I've had dealings with her and she is a big time Fraud. Avoid her like the plague unless you too want to get ripped off. If you ask her a question, bid on one of her auctions or win an auction, she adds you to a bulk mailing list to solicit sales outside of ebay for her fake junk. She also has a store on ecrater. The link is: http://namebrandcosmetics.ecrater.com/

I'm just bumping this post to the front page. I think it's important for any prospective buyer to be warned about this seller just in case they have not read this yet.

I have bought from http://namebrandcosmetics.ecrater.com a ton of times and NONE of the items were fake. I know this for a fact because I took them into a department store and asked. I bet you didn't know that she does NOT sell Mac! I asked her about the Mac post and she said she posted that ad because she wanted to catch and turn in the people that are selling fake Mac cosmetics.

So you all are very very wrong! Maybe you should find out the facts before you accuse someone!

Interesting that you and the subject of the OP come from the same area of the same great state of Alabama.

Um...yeah.

hahaha that's so funny because if you had purchased from her you would have been buying from your self because according to your id history you just changed your name TODAY to wholesale_cosmetics! if your going to lie you could at least put a little effort into it! maybe you don't sell mac because you didn't ever find a cheap counterfeit supplier, you know, with products that "look real". its people like you that give ebay a bad reputation. you don't know what counterfeit cosmetics are made of, they could contain anything and they could seriously hurt someone if they contained bacteria or something poisonous, why would you want to do that to anyone? what goes around comes around, i feel sorry for you, karma can be a real bitch.

Christine, do you really think people are as stuid as you are? wholesale_makeup, mamasmarket2, awholesalecosmeticssource, http://namebrandcosmetics.ecrater.com, and a ton of other alisis are all the same fradulent seller named Christine Bernstine. She can't even be honest in her profile which is why she removed her picture and replaced it with some random stranger. While it is an improvement over what CB actually looks like, the new picture of a random stranger really isn't anything to brag about.

CB and her multiple alisis not only solicit but also knowingly sell fake products from all the major cosmetic lines. The chanel perfumes for example are knockoffs she purchased from China.

She doesn't limit to herself to selling fake cosmetic and perfume items either. Here's a link to her purchasing fake receipts to sell her knockoff purses, sunglasses and wallets to unsuspecting buyers as authentic:
http://www.ioffer.com/offer_transactions/show/827303

She was trying to pawn of some fake Lancome Juicys a few months back that were so bad that they weren't even the color they should have been. The originals are pink. Her's were clear. She didn't remove the auctions until she was reported to Lancome.

You're claim about not selling MAC at all is also an outright lie. I can easily find at least 100 auctions in which you defrauded buyers by pawning off your fake MAC items on them. I can also locate at least a dozen plus links to various message boards where you openly seek fake items. I'll gladly post all the links on here for the entire world to see if that's what it takes to get you to stop.

You can change your username all that you want. But no matter what you call yourself, one thing can be certain, which is once a fraud, always a fraud.

In conclusion, we do have the facts straight Christine. We know that you are a big, fat liar who knowingly rips people off. I'm very surprised that you haven't been arrested yet. But I guarnatee if you continue ripping people off like you do and you will be.

Here's another example of her soliciting fake MAC items:
http://209.85.165.104/search?q=cache:4EnMsYq9_NQJ:www.ioffer-bags.com/i/Wholesale-MAC-Items-14882252+mamasmarket2&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=21&gl=us

This is a link to where she purchased 400 fake MAC products from someone in Thiland a few months ago:
http://www.ioffer.com/offer_transactions/show/941103

This is the link to that sellers feedback:
http://www.ioffer.com/ratings/char_lotte

She purchased another 100 fake MAC items from a seller in China just last week:
http://www.ioffer.com/offer_transactions/show/1649687

Hope she gets burned with this deal so she doesn't rip off even more people. Looks like she might since the seller is no longer registered:
http://www.ioffer.com/ratings/dreamfuture2008

As far as her selling fake MAC items, you can just google any of her multiple ids and find hunderds of auctions. Here's a link to just a few of her many ids:
http://contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ReturnUserIdHistory&requested=wholes ale_makeup

You can also try any of her multiple email addresses. If you can't find them, let me know and I will post those as well.

This isn't the only forum that she has been called out. Here's a link to another board:
http://www.honestforum.com/517681-post6.html

Here's a link to what she actually looks like:
http://209.85.165.104/search?q=cache:zNrq2BPJ_6wJ:myworld.ebay.com.cn/awholesalecosmeticssource/+wholesalecosmetics&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=102&gl=us

Not only does she sell fake items, she doesn't actually have most of the items she sells. She gets them dropshipped from other fraudlent sellers like herself. Which means that her lines about "just receiving another pallet" are also BS.

Finally, in response to cheebdragon comment: "if your going to lie you could at least put a little effort into it"

Because shes simply not intelligent enough. If she were, she would know that nothing that you do on the WWW is private. You can find out just about anything on everyone by doing a simple search. If she isn't swift enough to buy under different ids, she wouldn't be intelligent enough to post under a different id either. Another reason is because she registered under a different ID a few months ago for the sole reason of leaving retalitory FB for someone that left her negative feedback. The other seller had the feedback sucessfully removed. Ebay banned that user id and also blocked wholesale_makeup from creating any additional ids in the future.

I'm sure that she will try to have this entire post deleted and I hope she does to. Since ebay will need to review it first, they will see that she is nothing but a fraud and finally give her the boot for good!

I HAVE BOUGHT FROM THEM BEFORE

This seller wholesale_cosmetics is 100% legitimate. They are a licensed business listed with the BBB. They have been on ebay since 2004. You would think if they were truly fraudulent as you claim they would not have been powersellers for over 3 years.

We often do business with their company. We have had their products authenticated by legitimate companies. Sounds like to me there is a bunch of wanna be sellers that are jealous of their success. Did you know that they provide products for about 80% of the powersellers that sell cosmetics on ebay? They also have over 10,000 paypal transactions and were one of their original members.

So definitely some jealousy going on!

Maybe you really should get your facts straight with solid proof before you convict someone!

Our company buys from them all the time. Never once have we gotten fake merchandise. And we sell their products on many websites. You would think if they were selling fake goods that they would have been shut down years ago, but they have been on the web for over 10 years.

So your not the one mentioned here, your sticking up for the company you buy from ???

And selling products on websites doesnt proove anything, fake websites and sellers have been known to be on ebay for years before anything gets done.

wholesale_makeup is 100% legitimate cosmetic supplier

Yes I am sticking up for them! They have been ebay members since 2004. And I buy from them all the time. You would think if they were truly selling fake mac they would have been kicked off of ebay a long time ago. They rarely have Mac cosmetics for sale anyway! If you look through their listings they have one or two mac items. If they were truly selling fake mac wouldn't they have a ton of it?

Also read their feedback. They have had some negative feedback, but none of it for selling fake stuff. The negative feedback they have received is really for being disorganized like mixing up packages, sending the wrong item, the quality not being so great. But they deal with surplus inventory and a lot of it. Surplus inventory is shelf pulls, overstock, some customer returns, etc. So sometimes the items are not in MINT condition like in the department stores. They buy pallets of merchandise from reclamation centers. The items that are used, leaking or too damaged they donate to local women's shelters. Their feedback is 98.6% which is pretty good when you deal with as many people as they do. Read their about me page. I agree that 98.6% feedback is an A+ in our school systems and it should be on ebay too!

What I like about them is that they cater to the small sellers that can't afford to buy 500 of one item. Their minimums are very low so people just getting started in the resell business can afford to buy.

I think someone is jealous of her. And hence the accusation that she is selling fake merchandise. How do you even know that the posts on ioffer are from wholesale_makeup? What proof do you actually have?

There are a lot of cosmetic sellers on ebay that are jealous of her success I am sure. Those who cannot afford to buy in bulk and have to compete with a wholesale supplier on ebay usually are jealous and will go to any means to ruin their reputation. She has also been a member of wholesalecentral.com for a number of years and has an excellent reputation. She only accepts credit cards and is a verified premier business member of ebay and paypal. If she were selling knockoffs I doubt very seriously she would accept credit cards for it. Most of those types of sellers require wire transfers, money grams, western union and money orders not credit cards!

Shame on you for trying to ruin her good reputation and may God forgive you for your envy.
She appears to have ruined her reputation herself. I would strongly suggest not sticking up for yourself. The more you pretend to be someone else just makes you look more guilty.

As far as everyone knowing that mamasmarket2 on ecrater is wholesale_makeup on ebay, all they have to do is check your id history: http://contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI...es ale_makeup

Same user id and same location. Coinsidence, I think not.

You did finally tell at least one half truth. While you are not a "licensed business listed with the BBB," they are aquainted with them though. Since macattack aka as wholesale_makeup aka as dozens of other names decided to spread false rumors about me on this board, I did a little homework myself.

It appears that two unique users filed disputes with the BBB against her this year alone. Check it out for yourself: Better Business Bureau

According to the BBB she is NOT a member and she didn't respond to either dispute.

If you liked that, you'll love this one. It appears that this isn't the first time that she has been called out in these forumns either:

http://www.honestforum.com/rock-repu...tml#post517681

I'm sure she will be on here later posting under one of her multiple alter egos, macattack or another alisis claiming it's not true or not her for that matter. But the proof is contained in the post that started this thread. So there is no denying it.

Oh my. Good sleuthing BABYPENS99!
I read the entire original post...does any one else find it tremendously idiotic that her retorts posted under different aliases (wholesale_makeup, lyssilu) are almost word for word identical? It's like she didn't even have the brains to change the wording...LOL.
