ATHLETIC guys, what is your Diesel cut

My Husband has bigger thighs and small waist. He has tried Kurratt and Koffka but is not happy with the fit if either. What do you guys suggest? He does not like skinny and prefers more of a boot cut or straight. Thanks for your help!

I have big thighs but I can still wear zathans. I guess it's about what you're used to but it gets pretty comfy after stretching. Maybe size up on the koffha or kuratt? Or you can go for the bigger cuts like levan or larkee.

^ x2 for sizing up on the Koffha

He has Koffha 70Z and they look amazing, the thighs fit perfectly but the waist is like 3 inches too big. Sizing up would just about drive him over the ege I think. Size up. LOL isn't that a first in the diesel section?

I will go check out some Zathan. Thanks!

he won't like zathan. it is tighter in the thigh and looser in the waist compared to a koffha in the same size. i think levan would be the perfect cut for him.

THANKS!! I just looked some up for him, he likes the Levans!

Try Yarik

Lemmen, Levan, some Yarik, Kajo

I have the same issue, and I love the zathan - provided I give them a chance to stretch out. the waist loose, but if you size it just right a belt won't pinch a bunch of fabric. maybe go for the tighter washes like 784 and 70L or the size-down ones like 772 and 710? stretch washes are a good option too, like 71L.

personally i didn't like the yarik (billowy from the knee down on me) but shazor is another good option for your man. Put him in some 71b and tell me i'm wrong....

got a friend that hates bootcuts (maybe it's my influence ),and considers levan, lemmen and larkee only.

Possibly paddom and yarik would be good as well, depending if you like higher waist or much-detailed backpox

if he can get the jeans over his thighs to his waist and the waist fits then by definition they arent "too tight" in the thighs. He just need to get over his fear of wearing fitted jeans.

Exactly what I was thinking. I was the same way for months before I got used to wearing fitted jeans.

Zafs/Koffha are a dream for built guys, and washes like 87P, 60D, ect will stretch perfectly. 796/772 washes also seem to stretch out quite nicely as well, but over a longer period of time. I also second Jskidder, he should be very comfortable with Levans

Im even into Farcos now.

It always goes in stages ( for me anyways)

Ordering 2 sizes too big
Sizing down 1 size
Sizing down 2 sizes
Ordering a bootcut instead of a flare
Ordering your first straight leg
Going to tapered ( for some)

^ He was a body builder for years. He can't get them over his thighs. He's not afraid of the fitted jean, just hates the baggy waist.

Thanks Paul and the rest of you guys. You gave me and him a lot to look at.

I have very sculped legs and Zathans fit me best.
If he was a bodybuilder than he was probably doing heavy squats for years and years. Quads like that won't fit into diesels that are slim in the thighs. He probably wouldn't like anything tighter than levan, which is a great straight cut. There's always lots of them on yoox and ebay.

^ yes, exactly. He isn't huge anymore, his butt is normal now LOL, just really fit, but his upper thighs and quads are still big and his waist is really small. He liked Levan best. He said he could tell by looking at them they would probably be the best fit. Thank you all again! You're a great help!

I second with Levan.
zafs and u could take the leg in to reduce the flare. i have big a$$ quads and love zaf. especially 772 wash. also love my zathan 71js. fit looser in thigh then other zathans.

any other recommendations from the current lineup?
Larkee, Timmen, Viker, Krooley, Pheyo depending on the cut your looking for

I also recommend Safado. They're slim, but if you size up in the waist & they'll fit fine.
