Lucy.... do you think the denim is better quality on these as I have heard R&R might be getting BETTER on quality now....

how strong a wash do these feel? Can you think of a wash that compares?

Oh I cannot wait for mine to arrive!!! They look amazing!!! I am so glad you feel they run big b/c I was so worried about mine fitting but now I think it will be just perfect! Mine were shipped yesterday so I hope they arrive soon!

They look great on you. I didn't think mine ran big but perhaps I am just bigger than I thought! At he moment I wear a 29 in DV Madrid crowns and a 30 in rainbow roths and a 28 in librium sigs so I am all over the place. I have so many jeans in a 28 that need to go but cos I have short legs I don't want to sell cos I don't think I'll get what they are worth.

Odie- I don't understand why it would be this way but I do believe the measurements on yours do run small.

Is there any chance they could be size IRR?

Too be honest it is probably me. I don't like my jeans tight, I feel really uncomfortable. I wouldn't like to think these crowns are equvilant to a 30 though and still feel so tight. (Hope that makes sense) They are very stretchy though

Well you need to remember that Lucy is a tiny little thing and in her size even a small amount of difference would feel like a whole size

Anyway, I still really really think they were a leeedle small for a 29 because I'm sure you said 16.25 aligned and I make that a larger 28.

Anyway, as Lucy said, they are really stretchy so that would make sense why I think the meas are a little small and she thinks they still fit big. It adds up.

I doubt in these bigger sizes that we wear (compare to Lucy size) the difference wouldn't seem so great. No way these are 30 babe!

Ha Ha-- You are tooooo sweet. All of you are!

In answer to all the questions:

They are LA-- they come in Stockholm as well though.

I would probably say, from a strength perspective, they remind me of 60's wash (I am a crowns girl!) They seem a little stronger than addict, possibly because they are not so "treated?"

For color I would say a little darker than addict or chromas-- like I said, I am mostly a crowns girl! It is a very pretty wash.

They seem almost as, if not just as stretchy as my 60's crowns. And I feel that even without the stretch they run about 1 size big, because the measurements for these compare with those of most of my R&R 25's.

My best advice would be to take your addict wash size... and that is just for the LA's-- not sure how the Stockholms fit!

I hope you all get them!!!

Oh-- and sadly R&R did not end up making the Moloko pink crowns-- sadly as the pic I saw was AMAZING.

I know, moloko pink would have been spectacular, but Carly spoke to the R&R dist. the other day and they decided not to make them. Sadly.... I am still mourning the and they never existed!
