Uhg...feel like rubbish...

I know at least part of why I feel like crap...the weekend partying, but the crap feeling seems to be excessive in proportion to the partying. I mean, it is Tuesday evening and I still feel awful.

Basically, I spent the weekend drinking, not sleeping and not really eating.

I have certainly allowed myself plenty of sleep. I have been trying to eat, but every time I do, I just feel really sick, not hungover sick, just, all-over unwell.

I am as cranky as a teething baby and so scatter-brained I am afraid to send my clients emails for fear they won't make any sense.

I need to get better pronto because I am getting behind in my work.

What to do, almighty health gurus? I need to go to the grocery store, but I can't even think of what to buy to sooth my angry body.

Oh Casey I feel your pain, Im still recovering from the long weekend

Gatorade or any type of carb/electrolyte drink will help you immensly, along with a good multivitamin to help replace lost nutrients

I prefer pedialyte , a hydration and electrolyte drink given to babies and kids when they are dehydrated. Its fairly cheap and can be found in any pharmacy.

You may also want to load up on greens ( powdered vegitables) as they will reduce the free radicals in your system and help flush you out

That and a good nights sleep should get you back to where you where before the partying

Hi Darlin", I'm sorry you feel icky. That's no fun!

IMO you should stop eating until you feel better, let your body detox. Do a mini master. And drink tea. Your choice. Get in the tub as hot as you can handle it and drink your lemon cayenne concoction, open up those vessles and get that crap OUT!!

The healthiest peole are MUCH less tolerant to toxins, alcohol being one of the worst IMO. Hydrate before you consume so you flush immediately.

Edit: You can add some milk thistle supplements to help the liver detox.

You know Michelle...I think you are right. (as always) A mini MC it is! Only limes in the house, but they will do until I go to the grocery.

I took Chris's advice last night (THANKS!) except for the powdered greens cause I couldn't find em. I feel markedly better, but still a bit scattered. Time to reset.

It is all hot and sweaty which is a good time for a little MC anyway (i get really cold when I cleanse.)

Mmmm....I think I am going to squirt a bunch of that castille soap in the tub before I soak.

I drink pretty regularly, but this weekend I really did get excessive with it. And I didn't drink nearly enough water (bad, bad casey).
