Tiff just asked me why I was trolling on denimdna, which I appreciate her ASKING and confirming with me first before assuming anything, and so now I know someone has been posing as me on denimdna.

And all this time, I thought people were blowing up at me just because I attacked XYZ on this forum. To whomever is posing as me on denimdna, confront me if you have the guts, you passive aggressive coward.

Obviously this is NOT Tim. When has he ever posted with crazy capitalization like that? Maybe it is just from having taught writing so much...but it is also very clear to me from the writing style that it is not Tim. That is not his tone or voice at all. It's official. My account on denimdna (username is "the REAL not_a_virus.exe") has just been approved by the mods there and I cleared my name up there.

An IP check verified this and it was discovered that the poser was...

Wow, what a great example of a mod he is over at that other forum (which I'm not surprised as well...you should see the email I got from this guy one time...I once messaged him on eBay, but he didn't know it was me, and he immediately started bashing on HF out of the fucking blue without me even inquiring about it lol). Nice integrity you got there, bro.

actually, i did once start a goofy coatimundi thread on that other forum (i'm trying not to be specific to avoid inter-forum drama), and the story is pretty complicated, but to make a long story short, fosterzmom started a thread there that i found to be very offensive (something about "lol lindsay lohan's privacy was hacked into and her private information has been spread all over the internet haha that is great i feel good now"), and i voiced my opinion about it, and then a whole bunch of people attacked me for it, and i guess they got more frustrated because they tried to make me feel bad but i just laughed at them, so they stalked me and they also bumped my OLD coatimundi thread JUST SO THEY CAN CONTINUE TO throw totally random, generic e-insults. i guess they were just determined to make me feel bad, but i couldn't help but laugh so i guess that just only made them try harder so they'd keep posting e-insults (threadcrapping btw) in the same coatimundi thread. i'm guessing they felt real embarassed whenever i'd bump the thread because they didn't want anyone to see how obvious and offensive their threadcrapping was in my coatimundi thread.

btw, i'm still fucking blown away that of all people, it was treasurehoard who'd do something like this. but again, i'm also not surprised lol.

Wow...

Have just read more of the DDNA threads and I can't believe that someone would put that much energy into pretending to be not_a_virus and doing such a bad job of it.

The posts are insane and CLEARLY not NAV. It doesn't sound like him, it is not how he writes. Most high-schoolers could have done a better job of impersonating him. But I think that your average teenager would consider that sort of behavior too childish.

I can't believe that a MOD of another forum would involve himself in something so low and pathetic. What an effing moron...he should have known that he would be caught. The IP stuff makes it pretty easy.

I could go on for a while about how dickless and stupid I think the perpetrator is...but really, I think that it is pretty gosh darn clear.

NAV, I guess I just didn't understand why you made a billion posts after the coatimundi thread was locked. As I said on AF, I didn't think the LL or Coatimundi threads were that offensive or irrelevant (more so than anything else that people post, anyway)...but what did seem childish and bizarre were the following posts.
I'll definitely give you that people's responses to you were not respectful and some (including another mod), seemed completely inappropriate given the lack of any obvious malice in your posts.
More disturbing yet is that someone went to the trouble of impersonating you.

Maybe everyone just has too much free time?

well Tim I thought it was odd that it was all pictures(very little writing which is unlike you) but truly never thought any onw would go to the work of posing as you on another forum. I was defending you on DNA b/c I know you are a great guy and just thought well I don;t get what he is doing

I think its silly that treasurehoard would do that. I have made no secret that the forum he is a mod on is the one I feel the least comfortable on but I do think there are a few great people on there cherokees gal and jessica for two that rarely post here in anymore and I miss them.. they are both great girls. But i do find it a bit childish that any mod would find the need to impersonate a very popular member of the online communities...

it the same way I felt when super future or whatever the heck it is started pulling pics from our WAYWTD threads and railing on the outfits... b/c they are not cool or different enought to fit in there.. stay in the forum you feel most comfortable in or be active in any of them you choose but why act so chilidish about it all.. most of us are freaking grown ups

nfj, i actually appreciate you watching out for me. if i think my bro is about to dig himself deeper into a hole, i'd bring it up too. given the time, i was under a lot of heat...lots of weird PMs and emails from all of a sudden. i was totally like WTF is going on here?

I , too was nearly heartbroken he never addressed the posts in the other forum thread in his usual fashion. I kept asking him thru here and email what are you doing!?? No wonder you thought I was the one off the deep end!!!

I publicly want to apologize to virus for doubting him. He has been a good friend. It would never cross my mind that someone would take the trouble to impersonate someone. I know it's been done, but I just wouldn't even consider that right away.

I can barely use the Interbabble wtf it is called.

That first incident/thread I stayed out of and that's between him and xyz forum that I don't post on.

As for the mod that did this??? I will block his sellers' name from My Ebay if this is proven beyond doubt.

Virus, you can be a pita sometimes, but hey, takes one to know one!!!

you know im just looking out for whats best on www.honestforum.com. i hit up AF every once in a while but it usually makes me want to kill myself. even if boys do look better with eyeliner.

no need to apologize, begret. yes, i was hurt that some people would think i'd do all that and no simple IP check was done, but at the same time, i understand that it'd be difficult to question my identity on denimdna, because even that would have been offensive if by some weird chance that was me, so i apologize for ever having such an unfair expectation on you guys.

either way, denimdna is a great place people! the people there are awesome...even the perpetrator was treated relatively really well!

The only reason none of us thought that the person posting those ridiculous pictures would be anyone but you is because you DID THE EXACT SAME THING ON ANOTHER FORUM! Don't you get that at all? Actually, you should be flattered that someone would imitate you! Isn't that what you wanted? Attention? You know, imitation is the best form of flattery.
