im assuming its basically the same as when they replaced Farco with Viker. or Zaf w/ Koffha etc etc.

^ Except I think they're even MORE similar to each other than those examples. I get the impression that Zathan and Zatini are LITERALLY the SAME except for maybe a 1" leg opening difference.

first of all, zaf was not replaced with koffha. they are completely different cuts and they were released within one season of each other.

and although they are quite similar in fit, farco and viker are far more different than zathan and zatiny imo. zathan and zatiny are completely identical other than the leg opening, every detail is 100% the same.

whether or not they were replacements they were indeed the most recommended style for people looking for a similar fit (Koffha/Zaf, Viker/Farco).

does anyone know if Zatiny has converging back pockets?

Yes, it does. EVERYTHING is the same except for leg opening.

Diesel Zathan 84J

Now I'm worried I'll never find the Zathan 84J's I so desparately want . Can anyone give me any ideas of where to look? Size 30/30 (29/30 if they run large)??

I don't see how discontinuing the cut will effect the search for a pair of jeans that was stopped being made years ago. Also they run large.
