I hate that 8FA

I really cant see why would someone buy this pair,when there are some awesome stuff elsewhere (like,8FC)
which also makes me think 'why would they RELEASE that'

You're right. You have to stop and wonder... this wash insn't very interesting, in fact it's not even good. So why even have it on the shelves?

i didnt like them at first but theyre only 190 and theyve grown on me in the last week. i'll defintely post pics when i receive them.

just called them and told him to order me both pairs. tuesday i'm gonna have BOTH zatiny washes! i can't fucking wait. =D Prices: 8FC was $210 and 8AR was $190

8ar isnt that great in person i saw them looks like true religion not worh buying retail i would pay at most $100

True Religion?! No thanks man. Seems like Diesel has been very hit & miss with their washes as of late. The S/S collection of Zathans just bored me to death, save the 8AAs.

Diesel has brought us such inventive washes in the past, I'm starting to wonder if they're getting a case of writers block... or, er... fashion block.

I felt the same way when I saw the 8ARs. The color is alright, and the rips are convincing enough to work, but I just didn't feel that there was a special "Diesel Touch" that warranted anything more than about $100 or so. They were cool, but just didn't leave a strong impression on me.

The 72H looked awful. The color reminded me of an abused 89J after too many runs in the laundry. The lower calf area had some decent "acid-ish" color, but the rest looked very flat and dull.

I was hoping to find a stray pair of 71Js Zathans hiding out, but no luck. The clerk told me that on two occasions some Japanese guy came in and bought 8 pairs all at once! I should have bought 'em when I had the chance a few months back if for no reason but to flip 'em.

I've always been a 33 in Zathans and this is no different. I could see that maybe, just maybe you'd want to size down if you tend to wear your jeans a tad loose, but I wouldn't make such a decision sight unseen. These things fit me just the same as any of my non-stretch Diesels.

^^ Couldn't be happier with the Zatiny cut. They kept all the good stuff and updated the profile a bit. Feels slightly like a Zathan from '05 or earlier in some areas.

I'm not feeling the length on those jeans with those heels.Perhaps on flatter shoes it is right but now they look as if they'd float around,which you may not want

It's a really, really fine line when it comes to the inseam on these jeans. Most of the Zathans I have were bought with 32" inseams and then hemmed to 30.5". That way there's just the right amount of shape, without letting them "float." I'm pretty happy with these though. They didn't seam to float at all when I wore them... although now I'll have to check...

yeah they do look kinda short, but i wish 30" inseam was too short for me. it's usually too long, but hemming boot cut diesels is a no-no in my book so i just wear them a little long.

once again, if anyone is looking for the zatiny 8FC in 26x30, mine will probably be for sale soon in HM because of me being too small for stretch denim.
