... and to make it go away faster? D: I -hate- walking around with a big, thick scarf.

LOL! how bad is it? I've only gotten one so far and it wasn't bad at all, I have long hair so no one even noticed

Concealer?

It's big, red, ugly, and looks like I've been savagely beaten with a leech. D:

hickies are really just blood clots in a certain area. if you get a chapstick/lipstick cap and just twist it over the hicky then take a hot shower it should get rid of it, if not make it lighter.

OMG MAAYAN WE ARE IN THE SAME POSITION! LOL

I'm wearing a juicy track jacket zipped up to the top everyday.

you girls are naughty!
you're supposed to put something really cold on it, it'll turn lighter. trust me, i had 9 hickeys once, at the same time! LOL

^ whoaaaaaaaaa you dirty little hooch!

I had one that lasted 2 weeks! It was during the year's hot spell too... every day was 40+ degrees Celsius, and I was doing summer school in a non-air conditioned room on the 4th floor of an old, unventilated building.

Worst comes to worst, you could get a lighter scarf so it's less bulky.

WOW, I am so old. I havent had a hickey in like 20 years. LOL

How does the chaptstick cap thing work?
hee heeee this thread is so funny..
by twisting the cap on the hickie it spreads the blood so that it's not all clotted in one area
post #13 of 33
lol, all you can do is hide it hun! Concealing it just brings it out more...

rock the side ponytail haha it always works for me

This is a funny thread. Even though it never worked very well, I tried to hide a hickey with a necklace, higher neck top and concealer.

a couple days ago i'm in the shower i find a hickey on my left boob. it's so bad, to the point where it's dark and green. i really had no idea he was sucking that hard? it totally made me think of his thread! it's fading now, i'd suggest pics too but not mine! hahaaa

Try a little silk pocket scarf tied around your neck. It is not hot and it looks really chic.

Um. Maayan. ..... um. I, um. well, I. I, can't even find the words.
As your "older and wiser" voice of reason.... What the fuck were you thinking??????
darling, I know YOU are much smarter than this.
But bigger question? Was it THE date?

and back in the day... the general rule of thumb was to use a comb the skin to help break-up the clot. Didn't always work, but it sure was fun torturing my friends! And no. I've never had one that was above my collar.

good luck

1 of the best ways to get rid of hickey is use the tooth brush on the stop where the cloth is and it will circulate the blog faster and will spread the blood out so the hickey goes away.. I haven't got 1 in 15 years .....FUNNY......
wow not blog blood upssss sorry ^^^^

someone once told me to grind up aspirin, mix it with visine and press it into the hickey to make it go away. I didn't get a chance to try it but she claimed it helped her.
