Im Planning on cutting up, please read - Page 2

I'm far from an expert but I do read on the subject and your carb intake seems rather high for a cutting diet. Also, as you mentioned, I thought it best to avoid "white sugars" and stick to whole grains......except for post workout carbs to spike insulin level

Thanks for the opinions man, I do appreciate them

I generaly eat around 4300 calories, so my reduced intake is more then enough to enhance fat removal.

And I am not going for a comp cutting plan, as I am trying to loose no muscle with this diet. If I went on Clen, or T-3, or greatly reduced my carbs I would loose far too much muscle. Now when most bodybuilders are taking shots of Growth Hormone and Testosterone, they dont worry as much about lost muscle, but Im not juicing, and I dont want to loose any of my hard earned gains. And I need non whole grain carbs as my job is physicaly demanding.

And as far as whole grains go, my bagel and cereals ect are all whole grain, my baked potatoes ect are not, and my metabolism is so high that it does not matter for me. As I stated, Im not going for a brutaly religious diet, enough for a normal guy who bulks to maintain his muscle without hitting the sauce.

Ahhh you're taking the Lean/Ripped/Dry system... Have you taken any other thermogenics before this? How does this compare to them?

I have never tried to shred up before, so I would be lying if I compared the brand to others.

I am adjusting to it rather quickly, and its not making me wound up or shaky anymore. I am stopping all of my carb intake by 7:30 every day from now on, so I am probably going to get killer cravings.

I should also elaborate a litle bit about my massive carb/cal requirements. I have an ultra fast metabolism, and was tested to be almost 2.3 times that of the average person ( 5 years ago from my doctor) so I have to eat huge amounts to maintain what I have.

I went from 110 pounds, to 175, and thats with trainers and freinds telling me I would never gain more then 20 pounds, or have big arms/chest ect.

So many of you will need to reduce the caloric amounts I have listed

You eat more by 11:30 a.m. than I do in a day. Damn.

Jessani, you have a great shape! Eating a lot is not all it's cracked up to be I still at my advanced age have a superfast metabolic rate, like CUTUP... I figured by the time I was 50 it would slow down, but it hasn't.
The thing is, I am not 'skinny' if I lose too much weight I get puny and look like shit.
So I have to eat. I have no issue with food, I eat when I'm hungry. Really.I'm not an emotional eater. I'm hungry a lot, but I need to eat a lot.
So it's always something. My dad always said no one would keep me if the kidnapped me when they found out how much I ate.

CUTUP you're body will get used to utilising other sources of energy w/o the carbs. You'll probably not go back to so many simple carbs!

damn i wish i had ur metabolism haaaa. i have to eat all unprocessed carbs, stick to lean proteins, and have to do a shitloads of cardio to get lean now. i tried t3 before and think it messed w/ my metabolism. i wish i never took it. i was stupid. i def don't recommend it.

anyway i wouldn't go much by the scale. i would go by how u look in the mirror. i always try to take pics b/c u might not always see the changes in urself. i usually had other people poing things out. now looking back at the pics i said damn i was looking pretty good. why wasn't i happy w how i looked.

anyway good luck w/ what ur doing. its mostly a mental thing and i know what u mean by craving carbs. it is like nothing else fills u up. keep up the good work!

oh yea take an extreme ripped force or some kind of stimulant to give u a some extra energy during ur workout.

Jeff, feel free to send me any and ALL pics that you have ever taken. I'd be more than happy to review them and point out ALL the beautiful things I see.
And then of course, you'll need to take more... many many more.

as always, I'm here to help!

That's a good idea, I wish I would have done that to track my progress too. Although i'm sure it wouldn't be very pretty to see the "before" pics again

Will do. In another week when I am done I will post up some pics, as well as a summary.

I should have thought this through more carefully, as writing a week by week journal for a 3 week cut session would be extremely repetitive and boring.
