Hellllll no!

They didnt pay yet either.

Oh Im sure they will pay.. but theres a reason he was insisting on using paypal.

Youll ship the $1000 item, and he will file a chargeback.

Youll be out $1000 and your watch.

BIG scam.

^How safe is bidpay with these sort of transaction in protecting the seller (and might as well throw it out there, for the buyer as well)?

And I say if he really wanted it, tell him to get his a88 back in the US after he's done "vacationing" in the UK, and he can then proceed to ship them out to his son.

Might as well add to the mix: how's his feedback track record? Just curious.

It's probably best to stay away from him anyways.

Bidpay would not accept his payment. They seem to be turning down a lot of people lately. I tried to use them to ship a pair of jeans to Italy and they turned the buyer down.

Im surprised he left out the part about giving you an extra $400 or whatever "for your trouble" in helping him with this.

bidpay has certain requirements such as a FB minimum etc. if you want to find out why they're denying a payment just call and the CS will look it up and tell you exactly why it was rejected. i like bidpay

Me too but they have been turning down a lot of my buyers lately. I did not know that I could call them and have them look up the reason. Thanks.

Don't ship it at all!

I had one of these... he wanted me to ship an iPod to Nigeria for his son for Christmas. I thought, this is fishy, it's two months after December so I did some research. Turns out this is another Nigerian scam -- they hack people's accounts (accounts with lots of great feedback) and these accounts are based in locations that you DO ship to so that they can bid. Then they send the sob story and overcompensate with the shipping (he offered me over $200 more to ship it via FedEx). I had no worry about a chargeback because he sent me a fake PayPal payment invoice.

Send the email to spoof@ebay.com and if he sends you a PayPal payment send it to spoof@paypal.com.

It's likely a hijacked account. I got all my insertion fees and FVFs back within a few hours after sending it to eBay's spoof email. If you don't get the fees back right away, send an email to the Trust & Safety and they'll credit your account.

Never, ever, ship to Nigeria. It is the absolute home of scams. Have you ever heard of the 409 scams? Whenever I get ebay messages like this, I just report the person.

NEVER ship to Nigeria - this is a huge scam.

I have had good luck selling to Europe and Canada, so I would not go as far to say never ship outside of USA.

SCAM! The BF had a buyer registered in Australia who bought his laptop and wanted it shipped to Nigeria. They sent him a fake payment notice from some made-up bank and said the bank will release the funds once he ships the laptop. Dodgy as, stay away!

Next time you could also respond like such:

(1) Sure I'll ship it to your son along with some cops and FBI agents, along with myself so I can beat the shit out of you and your other f*&king scamming associates. If you agree, please book my flight asap. Thanks, I'll look forward to putting my foot up your a**

OR

(2) How about this.... delivery yourself via first class to the United States at our specified agreed upon designated location, and I'll introduce you to my two best friends, my right fist and my left fist ... and a side of whoop azz to go.
