Okay, so I want a huge bag for my birthday, something that I can stuff everything in...any recs? (I don't really care designer wise, but something that can truly take a beating

I like the Seatbelt bag executive tote in black...

Ohh Harveys Seatbelt bags!! I remember doing a marketing research project on a store that sells these.
I really like the Large Tote with Zip- but it looks the same as the executive one..
but if you want a smaller bag, I say go with the Zip Baguette

I love the size and color of that bag...there are similar ones in Canvas that I really like (and since I am so preppy I would get them monogrammed with my initials)...try lillypulitzer.com, landsend.com, vineyardvines.com, and llbean.com...so cute for spring/summer can take a beating and be taken anywhere with you.

Yes, all of them are cute, but I'm one of those people who don't want to spend $100 unless I want to keep my life in it (unless it's jeans) go figure

thanks for the great advice! I love landsend the most...I have a bag exactly like the safari bag that i've been using & abusing for a while, but I LOVE that twill canvas bag...so many to choose from

seatbelt bags are amazingly durable.. my best friend has had one since we were freshman in highschool (we are 23 now) and its still in good shape! they are well worth the money

oh wow! yea my mom said that she's willing to pay any amt on a purse as long as I use it heavily(I'm not big on purses except for one that I've stuffed everything in!)

I think I will get it, which color should I get?

my friend has the silver one... with age you can see the dirt/stains. i have a red one thats about 3 years in old and in perfect condition (color wise). i would say if you want some very safe and very versitale go with the black. it won't show stains

Yea..I think that I will stick with black because it goes with everything! what size did you get? I'm thinking that the executive tote might be a littttle bit too big but I'm not sure yet(I LOVE huge purses)

i don't know what size i got... it definately wasnt a big one. (going off the top of my head) its about 10 inches wide, 3-4 inches deep and 8 inches tall... maybe a small/medium tote size.

but the big bag with the zipper closure is awesome and a perfect size for carrying all the necessities

I have the carry on in pink. Bad decision...it gets so dirty. I used to use it as a bookbag but it's too big and heavy. Not to mention the shoulder strap digs into me. I think using it just as a handbag would be great though.

I have to say that I don't really like the look of a seatbelt bag but that is just IMO They just look... kinda... like seatbelts...... But I don't have any other recommendations for you because I've also been looking everywhere for a large tote bag and I can't find any that I really like.

I found some betsey johnson ones, they're really flash, and it's not really a tote(not at all), but I really like it, I'm thinking about getting one in white and black but I haven't gotten them for two reasons. One of them beign that the white might get dirty, and the other being that I'm on the fence about them and they're pretty much borderline tacky, but I love it anyway...

I like the Paint by Numbers bag. Great for summer. It almost looks like leather in that picture. Do these bags have any pockets on the inside?
