What type of eye makeup/routine do you use to make your eyes pop? I've been into the whole smokey eyes but my eyes are a dark green and I want to make them look bright and pop...suggestions?

They say you will pop when you wear the opposite color on the color wheel.. The opposite of green is red/purple. Maybe try some pinks and violets, they will def make your eyes pop.

(my eyes are blue and I wear browns and golds to make my eyes stand out)

i have green eyes and i find that purple really makes the green stand out, and also silver looks good against the green, but deffinately purple

Yep....dark plum/purple is the best to make eyes look light green! My blue eyes even get kinda turquoise looking when I wear those colors of eyeshadow!

Good luck And you should post pics if you try out those colors!

yes the above color choices will work but you should also try a smoky eye with brown, copper and such shades.. a smokey eye today is not always done with charcoal, black and gray...

I use stilla kitten(highlighter), jezebel or sun (for the lid) with twig in the crease and for the eyeliner

I have green eyes and bought this kit from stila for fall (but I use it year round) and the colors seem to make my green eyes pop...it is a light gold shade (highlighter), medum brown (crease) and a brown gray color (lid/liner). I saw almay makes these kits and I saw really cute kits from Pop Beauty at Sephora for green eyes (http://www.sephora.com/browse/produc...categoryId=B70)

My friend has green eyes and plum really really makes them pop. Great for dramatic night time... smoky golds and browns works well for during the day.

You're so lucky *sigh*... my eyes are boring brown.

I love using all different kinds of purplish shades on my olive-y green eyes.

Using similar shades works well too. I have the olive eyes set from pop beauty Sephora: Pop Beauty Eye Cake: Eyeshadow Sets Always gets me eye compliments.

I have the same color eyes as yours they've gotten lighter as I've gotten older. I like that olive eyes set, I never wear eye color anymore but prob should.

I love Sephora mail order, but when I go in there it germs me out.

Everything all smeared around

I wear a little pale goldish highlighter around my tear duct, when god forbid I take two minutes

I used to wish I had brown eyes...I had brown contacts and everything. My eyes are dark enough that they get mistaken for brown...don't ask me how.

heheheh. Its mad isn't it, cause all I've ever wanted was green eyes. I even considered contacts, only I'm too lazy and I rub my eyes a lot.

My eyes are brown/hazel and look green at times. I love MAC shale eyeshadow.

I have green eyes too and I have always been told lavendar or purple to make them pop

I forgot to mention that orangey shades look great too. That is usually a summer look for me (can't pull it off when I am winter pasty white). I use a shade of eyeshadow that looks a lot like a shimmery bronzer.

Purples and hot pinks work well for me for making my green eyes stand out. If you want to go smokey, use shades of lavenders and plum for the crease.

i second purpley/plumy colors.. my eyes are greenish blue, so if i wear purpley colors or smokey browns, the green is more prominant.. but if do grayer hues, the blue is more prominant..
