yes dear I realize we are all United now .. but I can't help it if I have bias towards the great state of South Carolina and count being A true Southerner as a blessing

Again, please tell me what country is over racism? Also, not a big fan of Bush but how is this his fault? The government was in place long before he took office and though he has fucked up how is he responsible for this whole thing? Putting the blame on one man just does not make sense.

NOWHERE in my initial statement did i say that Canada, or any country for that matter, is over racism. As for the Bush matter, yes, my mistake and apologies for incorrectly blaming Bush for assimilation in the U.S., but I just simply implied that it's the government.

That is true that you did not but there is no reason to single the US out when the whole world is this way. We do still have a lot of problems here and there is no doubt of that.

I was hoping this thread would just die on its own but I myself am guilty of keeping it at the top of the page. She left a while back and now so shall I even though I already said that I was done. I do not believe that she ever had any intention of starting a 12 page argument. All she said is that she was glad to live where she lives and it made people upset because she dared to say it.

No I am not.. I thought you were just trying to say that we are supposed to all be united states and that my hailing the southern states and in particular South Carolina as so much better was a bad thing.. my response to that was yes we are all United but I have a bias to the south and further the state of South Carolina but it's just my opinion. I am darn proud to be from there and as the initial title of this thread spoke to be proud they are American I am proud to be Southern. I am not sure what exactly you are intending or where you mean this to go. I do not expect anyone else on this forum to share my view of South Carolina unless they are from there. So to clear up any further confusion I am just stating that I am proud to be American and IMHO lucky to be raised in the south and I would not have it any other way. To me being southern is a positive all the way.

IMHO, the reason that adultery/infidelity/screwing around whatever you want to call it ..is bad doesn't really have to do w/sex. It's about lying! Mistrust, deceit,etc. is detrimental in any case.



As for your first statement, smray5, I think the media STILL views us poor pitiful women as victims. It's a shame that women are still viewed in this way.

well there is a difference between 52 stupid posts and 2 stupid posts. the difference is about 50. second, i would argue only the latter of the two posts is a stupid post, as compared to all 52 of yours as classified under "stupid." third, the second post there was intended more to mock your stupid posts rather than add an original stupid post to this thread. youll notice it came at the end of about an entire page of you and begret egging each other on to more and more off-topic annoying posts. in conclusion, i dont know why anyone else doesn't come out and say they're tired of seeing your stupid cat pictures that might have elicited a smirk the first time, but by the 1000th time are not only unfunny, but as i previously pointed out, annoying.

if you/sevenkid weren't always stalking me, you'd realize that i was trying to lighten the mood of the thread because at those points it was obviously about to get locked from getting too heated. it's the exact same thing with your 104 off-topic posts in that zeitgeist thread. both you and i know how effective indirect satire is. why do you think my posts in the last few pages of this thread (or the other countless ones throughout this thread) went back to on-topic? because people weren't taking the debate so personally anymore. just please stop trying to police HF just because you were earlier policed and almost banned in the beginning. thanks.
