lol absolutely brilliant biodiesel. also love the cross-forum AF reference to aliens lmao.

but...i'm afraid that will seem too obvious as a cop out.

i think the only way out is to somehow let them know how i'd feel left out if i went...and perhaps spin this around so that i'm doing the bossman a favor by helping him isolate him and his extorted girlfriend alone

yep. because if i went, it'll obviously be the bossman trying to dominate the entire conversation, and allowing just his extorted girlfriend to reciprocate. i'm gonna end up just sitting there like a dummy, and i'm definitely not going to want to get on his bad side by competing. he's already proven to be quick to kick out housemates for just being not social enough.

yeah, i don't think there's a graceful way out of this one.

i should have nipped it early in the bud a few days ago when he asked me about helping him with the bbq. this guy is totally hustling me with the whole "not being social enough" card.

begret, i hate moving, and it'd be bad for me to do so at this current point in my life. i'm still entitled to a visit to your farm and some cream of mushroom tater tots though.
