Looking for a economical (read "cheapish") possibly drugstore moisturizer and wonder if you guys have any suggestions??? I have been using Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance but I ran out and with the change in weather I am looking for something lighter. I usually don't have too bad of skin, maybe alittle dry, but currently I am in the midst of a giant breakout (chin, cose).....I'm not too sure what the heck is going on Do you guys regularily cahnge up your skin care routine or always use the same stuff????

I've been using Clinique moisturizer forever (the yellow stuff). A big bottle costs like $22 and it lasts forever!

There's some Nivea moisturizer in a blue tin that I hear is good. It's a european kind but it is sold in some Wal-Marts in the US.

I love the Clinique stuff too. It's called Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion.

purpose is supposed to be good. i always use cetaphil. some people say that it is too greasy for them but they are prob using too much and not working it into the skin all the way. it's relatively cheap and lasts a long time. non-comodogenic as well!

I used that and it was so greasy that I had to wash my face like 3 times the next morning to not be shiny. My sister has the Neutrogena Visibly Even Stuff, I use it sometimes when I'm at home and I liked it. Right now I'm using this SK II lotion that I LOVE. My friend who works at Sephora HQ gave it to me for free, but I think retail its like $70. So I guess I won't be repurchasing once it runs out

I recommend one with SPF for daytime, check out Olay's "Complete All Day UV Defense Moisture Lotion" at Wal-Mart. They have the Equate brand with the same ingredients for much cheaper.

I only use moisturizer during in the morning because I use Alpha Hydroxy Acids on my face as while as BHAs, which is why I recommend the Alpha Hydrox line of products (they also sell a moisturizer but it's around $15, with a $5 rebate inside).

this is what i used for daytime: Bliss Steep Clean Moisture Lotion... it's goes on light, non-greasy, and works pretty good for me (so far). i love the foaming face wash, so i thought i'd try other Bliss skincare products. a bit pricey, so i may have to find a more affordable alternative after this runs out.

Sephora: Bliss Steep Clean Moisture Lotion: Moisturizers

for night time, i currently use Laneige moisture effect cream (Korean brand):

MizBeauty.com :: Laneige Moisture Effect Cream 2 (Combi Skin)

I have super sensitive skin and have tried a lot - drugstore and department store brands and what helped me with my sensitive, acne prone skin is Japanese brand Dr. Ci-Labo Aqua Collagen Gel. I went to my local Asian supermarket and they have it in a big display case, I'm so happy about that because now I don't have to order it from Hawaii. It's $75 for 4 oz which isn't too bad, you only need a pea sized amount each time.
