I've never seen this style before. Is it really new or it completely fake? I think it's soo pretty. *swoon*

The auction is My Poupette approved and apparently it's LE, so I'm guessing it's the real deal (but you never know).

I know this was limited edition and everything, but why is it $1200???

I've seen these sell recently for about $600 something.

it retailed for like 465 or something like it. It was only released in japan and hawaii.

the retail was $400 USD, sold only in Hawaii and Japan... the price in Japan was probably higher, since LV generally costs more there. i'm pretty certain it's sold out by now.

when it first came out, i saw these going for only $100-150 or so above retail on ebay... the price has really skyrocketed due to the demand and exclusivity, i guess

i would've LOVED to get my hands on one, but unfortunately it's highly unlikely this bag will make it to the rest of the US. i'm not willing to pay much more than a couple hundred above retail, though

The bag is gorgeous!!

Although I'll have to settle for less, something like the Beverly, Lagoon, or Tikal is more in my price range.

Grrr.. I want to get into the tPF buying and selling area. It'll never happen. =/

I'm not sure, but I think an HF member was complaining about how they had been a member for x period of time and had x posts and still couldn't gain access. I wonder if anyone on here has access and could scope us out some deals. Hehe. Anyone?

That's not allowed on tPF. I really wouldn't post that since there are alot of tPF members that are also HF members so that could prevent you from getting in there. You cannot talk about anything to do with the MP at all. If the person did not get in, there is a reason. Either that person was reported, or that person has started too much drama, and so many other reasons that the mods will not disclose.

^ Not everyone knows about tPF's strict rules. It's not something people get banned for on here or AF, so I'm sure most people wouldn't realize you could get banned or never let in for merely asking something like that.

As for talking talking about it at all, you mean just on tPF, right? Because it'd be quite unreasonable to say that people can't even talk about this exclusive MP forum on another forum. It's also sad that there's a threat of people being reported for doing so, especially since it is in NO way bashing MP.

2venus, there's an application form that gets e-mailed directly to Vlad and he decides whether you get in or not. But there is a minimum requirement which is very subjective, which is why a lot of people who think they may qualify, don't get in. I believe the requirements are min 500 posts and a certain amount of time on the forums BUT you have to be an "active" participant and that's where it's a little unclear because what constitutes active is a little different for everyone.

It's like Fight Club. "The first rule of the _____ is you don't talk about the ______" and that to me means in general and is what I've been told.

I don't know if the threat comment is directed at me, I'm not threatening, I was putting it up there.

Also, from the posts in the general discussion I have seen in the past on tPF, they have taken it down all together before for drama and rules violation and it would ruin it for everyone if people start violating the tPF rules on another forum and it gets taken away again.

^ Well, the rules of fight club only apply if you are actually part of the "club", right? Or maybe I just didn't watch that movie carefully enough. Wouldn't it be a little, I know know....oppressive, to say that people shouldn't talk about MP outside of tPF. They certainly do not own the internet nor the free speech of internet users.

And in no way was that comment directed at you. I was mentioning the fact that someone, anyone, would actually go report a comment made by an potential future-MP member without ill intent, if you know what I mean.

When I first joined tPF last year, I didn't know you couldn't sell and this girl wanted premium denim that I had. I PMed her about it, she reported me, and I got a warning from a mod

Yikes, that DOES bite. I guess once you're part of the club, it seems fine but to me, as an outsider, that seems so cold. Would it have hurt her to just tell you that's not allowed? I mean, if you persist, that's one thing but if you really just didn't know.....
