I bought a pair of leather boots for $11!

Great deal, congrats!

^I don't like that store at all, they always have some shoes that I want, but their international shipping costs are insane. (Just like seller shoemetro) I love shoes, and it suck that I can't get any of their stuff...

$10.60 to be exact.. these were from gothamcityonline on Ebay.

What a great deal, nice boots too.

I hope you have better luck with them then I did though.

My husband ordered me a pair of boots for Christmas, I think he ended up paying about $20 for shipping. They arrived super fast (2 days) considering they came new york to Canada, and we didnt end up paying customs ( I think that was included in the $20 shipping if I remember correctly). Anyways, I ended up talking him into giving them to me early and when I put them on they were SO much bigger then my size that when I walked my foot literally slipped right out of the boot. I immediately sent them back and waited for my refund. ( I had to pay for them to be shipped back, because I am in Canada).
Well about a week later paypal sends me a letter saying my money was refunded. Go and check my account and see that they refunded me the original purchase price but none of the shipping. So basically, we just paid $40 some odd dollars for nothing.
I contacted customer service and they stated that they only refund shipping costs if the item is grossly misrepresented. I got into a huge chat with customer service and argued that obviously if we order a 9 and they fit lke an 11- that is grossly misrepresented.
I got absolutely nowhere with her, so I filed a paypal claim and ended up speaking with someone who actually knew what they were doing, checked the boots and saw that infact, they were sized incorrectly, and I got my shipping fee back... or at least what I paid for them to ship them to me, not what I paid to ship them back. So I was still out $20.

Needless to say, I won't be dealing with them again.

I'm so sorry to hear that this retailer gave you so much trouble. I think that if these boots were to not fit me the best way would just be to re-sell them again on ebay b/c especially shipping from Canada, returning a product just isnt worth it. (shipping costs are considerably high) However, this is my second purchase from the store and I'm pretty satisfied. Thanks for sharing though!
