I think another member here just got a pair for like few Euros... so there must have some nice deals out there to be found.

Thank you for showing me that! I am already in touch with the seller and I intend on winning that bid no matter how high it goes.  I already have the 74Z wash, but the 71J is still my ultimate favorite, just love the Dragons on the back and the light blue patches.  I have 3 pairs of 71J in Viker :)

I do have the 74Z already but still that 71J is my first love so I gotta get it! Love the dragons on the back too.  I have 3 pairs of the Viker 71J :) PS- I'm already all over that bid, I intend to win it!!! Thanks for sharing :)

Pre-owned, just to make sure you saw that.

Used to have a pair of these.  Those back pockets look sooooooooooo ugly.  Don't waste your money on such an expensive pair of Diesels when the pockets are Diesel's worst design (not to mention that you could get some nice Diors for the same price these usually go for).

Love them, love the back pockets, love the wash, it's my favorite wash of denim of all time! Can't help myself :)

Very weird! Seems like the guy with 31 Feedbacks pushed the price.

But anyway, too expensive for my taste, as the jeans are very used.

You guys are right that they're used, at least by the pictures, but I've been trying to buy these for 3 years now so I had to do it.  I don't care about the price, that's why I put my highest bid at a very high limit to guarantee that I win.  Don;t get me wrong, I wish that other bidder didn't bring me up to $385! I was happier at $250!!!

But remember one thing- I have connections to have both of the holes repatched originally and restore the jeans in general, so I'm very happy with my purchase and they will be fixed up soon enough :)

And by the way, why is it weird? I put a high maximum bid since I'm always working and can't keep checking ebay (aka using Auto Bid) and the other guy kept pushing it up to see if he'd outbid me- obviously he gave up at $380.

I thought it was weird because the other guy took his bid 2 times back.

When I was younger I used to push my own auctions that's why I maybe thought that this is weird.

But as long as you are happy everything is cool :)

Yea I get what you're saying now.  I think the other bidder wanted them pretty badly and he tried to keep testing how much my highest bid might have been so he could try and beat me, and then he gave up when it came to $380 because he didn't wanna spend more than that.

Unless I'm wrong and someone tried to screw me over by continuously raising the bid (like the seller or the seller's friend or something) and then backing out when they think they outbid me.  Any way I can find out if this might have happened? This is actually my first ebay purchase.  Let me know!

It's not easy to descry if this is the case. But what you could do is to check the seller's auctions. If you see this guy with 31 feedback bidding on many items, taking the bid back or something else it could be the case that the seller has 2 accounts or someone who bids on his auctions.

I've been a member of this forum since it was called Honestforum and have been an honest seller on eBay for almost 6 years.  We don't engage in bad business practices and/or shill bidding.  Hopefully this puts your mind at ease...

^^^^I don't know if you're the seller for my bid, but I don't believe that anything dishonest was going on.  Like I stated above, I think another person just legitimately wanted them as badly as me but didn't want to go over the point where he gave up which was at $380.

In any case, if you are the seller that I won the auction from- thank you for doing such great business, always communicating and getting my jeans out so quickly! Once I get them in I will be sure to give you great feedback on your Ebay account.  +2 for you my friend!

Its a nice jean I must say, but maybe try it without the patching.. i like the rips it gives so much more chracteristic... I didn't realize you were the highest bidder. hahaha.. congrats can't wait to see some photos shortly!!!!

If they were brand new I might have done this, only issue for me is I don't want to cause them to over rip because the tear is already a nice size as it is! But you're right, that rip does give it a nice character!
