Yes! I think that's it. It's near Spadina and College on the east side of Spadina and they have soft yellow takeout/delivery menus. I've never been to Sushitrain or Masa but I've definitely been to Sushi Inn (like a jillion times).

What is this "Sushi Mile" you speak of? Like, along Bloor between Bathurst and Spadina or are you talking about up north in Richmond Hill/Markham?

I also quite like Nami. I've only been there twice, but I really like the Tatami rooms they offer. In fact, I may have my upcoming birthday bash there. NAMI Japanese Restaurant, Private Functions, Toronto - Dine.TO

I really want to go to Monsoon as well. I think I'll wait until Summerlicious because I can't afford them at their regular prices.

BTW, there's this new place that opened downtown near Bloor and Spadina, I believe it's called Sushi Club? Anyways, DON'T GO! My friend got food poisoning from them.

It is healthy for you as long as you keep the soy and wasabi intake low. As for tempura and raw tuna/fish, the latter is sashami and considered distinct from sushi. Sushi refers to rice combined with toppings.
i got you beat.. lol

there's a place in one of the malls downtown (the nordstroms building).. in their food court they have all these authentic places.. italian, mexican, greek, etc. i don't think any of them are "chain" food establishments and i was surprised to see they had a sushi place.. everything is made fresh.

$3.99 TOTAL for 8 pieces of sushi plus a drink.

i love sushi! there's a really great place not too far around me...best sushi i've ever had, but the last few times i've been there with a friend and the two of us spent $100!

Yeah, we have those $3.99 deals at my school's cafes.

You can't really compare the two since yours is a food court whereas mine's in a sit down place. Everything is made fresh? How else would it be made?!

I think roe is any fish, but the orange ones you are talking about are salmon... i think. You're talking about the ones on the top of sui mai, yeah?

Sushi is generally good for you as long as it's not slathered with mayo, or contains deep fried things like tempura shrimp/veg.

I love hamachi and toro! I probably go eat sushi 2-3 times a week.
