OMG! All of this talk about R&R jeans ripping is freaking me out. Is there a current thread open that tells which jeans are prone to rip? If that's the case, then I need to start buying other jeans and let my R&R's rest for a while.

I LOVE THEM SO MUCH THOUGH.

I don't think there is a thread with just the kind that rip, but I know that Xanex (personal experience as of today) and Vicodin are prone to rips.

I know the feeling. I lOVE the Xanex pink. In fact, I just traded a pair of Kurts for some Xanex Pink Costello, and now I am afraid that those will rip too..... What is up with R&R

^just do a search on the board for rips and you'll find other posts where this is discussed

we can just make a list =]

i noticed that addict wash doesn't exactly rip, it just has slits =/ i guess it just beocomes a hole
i've also seen 70s wash crowns rip at the butt.
and i have a pair that ripped a hole in the knee after 1 wash, wash code is SM

frightening when you pay so much for these jeans and then to scared to wear them, i will just have to be careful when bending down...rippppppppppppppp
post #16 of 23
How sad it is to have a sticky for "easily ripped jeans"... that doesn't really give R&R a good name despite their cool design. hahaha~~~ But I do agree it is absolutely necessary due to their bad denim quality. Maybe we can also add a voting feature to it so it gives us a rough idea of how often/likely it happens to a particular pair.
Perhaps there are just 'unlucky' pairs, like ones where the denim is defective? I have a pair of Vicodin crystal fleurs which feel thicker than some of my other blends...there should be a sticky though. So far, I think the 'rippers' are:

Vicodin
Xanax Pink (has this happened to the Blue too or no?)
Radion
Addict
Other 67/33 blends.
Anthrax.
hasn't happened to xanex blue yet i believe
post #19 of 23
add anthrax to that list!
my turmoils and sodiums both ripped at the knee... you can add those
post #21 of 23
if we start a rip sticky could we also possibly incorporate receipt requests? i'm sure those of us with ripped jeans would gladly pay for a copy of a receipt to get a replacement from r&r...

thus said, please please please if you have one for sodium roths or turmoil berlins (sz. 27) i will pay u for a copy.
yeah the receipt request would be a great idea.. so if anyone has one for radion crowns i would be willing to buy it from you... all of mine list the jeans on them and I bought these on HF so no receipt
post #23 of 23
wow radion rip? my radion wickeds are super thick
