What is the cheapest/worst clothing brand in the world? - Page 2

i have a personal bias against american eagle =]

mainly because i know someone who owns about 4 pairs? and two ended up ripping when she was just walking and the other time was when she bent down. funnie in a way but AE is a no no for me !

another would prolly be forever 21 just because several of my shirts have ripped after a gentle wash! lol

The cheapest/worst clothing brand in the world is the one you've never heard of. That's how bad it is.

See what I mean. First time I've ever heard of that brand. Steve & Barry's sounds like some sort of bar started by two ex-employees of a company that went belly up after the Dot Com bubble burst.

We walked past the Steve & Barry's in our mall today and DH says "Hmm...new store?"
My response was "Yes, but don't EVEN go in there, the stuff is cheap $ wise, and terrible quality." (He knows nothing when it comes to clothing lines)
But they draw so many people in because of their super low prices....

I have never had a problem w/ the gap. I think that the clothes from Charlotte russe and mandees ( the mandees name brand) don't last. I don't really like victoria's secret's bras and underwear. I don't like how their underware washes. I bought a bra from there and the color ran out of it! Oh, wow I bought a shirt from AE a few years ago and the color ran out of it. I just brought it back to the store, and they gave me a full refund. I am not too sure if they still do that, though.

AE does offer refund after years? i own 2 pair of ae jeans and the belt loops on the side of those fell off. even worse than hollister jeans. i demand my full refund on those
my slogan 'nothing is perfect until i say so', thus theres either good or bad, and bad means worst, thats a total no no. speaking of brands over here in america, ae, hollister, gap, old navy, most stuffs from marshalls, ross, tjmaxx and so, although sometimes they do have killer deals. anyway, worst brands are most likely to have no brand at all, who would bother making tags and everything...

Babieejae1101, why is your (lovely) horse going downhill???LOL

begret, why is the woman in your painting in a sexy straight jacket and cut in two with someone's old bed sheet as a skirt wrap?

I'm gonna have to go with Costa Blanca. I bought a shirt from there for the first time, and the FIRST time I put it on, there was a huge hole under the armpit, and the sleeves started to unravel from a TINY loose string (neither of those were there before.)
They have an exchange only policy, so I just got a new one but I don't think I would ever buy a top from there again. (I like the jackets though)

Come on. Your not in the market for a plastic stadium jacket????? ^^Agreed. However I do buy thier long sleeve collegate T's to sleep in. I stock up on MSU......

I would have to also say old navy. Thier tees fit until washed. One washing and they are all out of shape. Threads ripping. I bought a bunch of thier long tanks this year for vacation. Total crap. They were soooo thin and stretchy. I had a bunch last year and they held up pretty well. Every year gets worse..........Any store that sizes the same product in a size 0-24

American Apparel is overrated shite.

When they first opened here everything in the store was $7.98. Including those jackets!

Actually I have found that AA has went downhill over the last few years. I bought a t-shirt there 3 years ago and bought the same one again recently and the fit is very very different, and I do not like it at all. The old one, which I still have, fits incredible though. I have experienced this with a few of their different styles of t-shirts, and it makes me sad. Seems like the t-shirts might be running longer now too?

I bought a Steve & Barry's t-shirt and it came apart after two wears! wtf

I totally agree and thats why I have switched to designer denim and decent name brands for tops.

As much as I own and love their stuff...Old Navy.

Kohl's is iffy, too.

Le Chateau in Canada
Old Navy and Aeropostale IMO...their stuff looks very worn out or starts losing stitches after the first few wears
post #49 of 51
I love Aero since the fabric is super comfy and none of their stuff has been shoddy and I like how it's always 50% off all the time.

Old Navy I go to for basic tanks but they usually don't make it through a year. So far the fur hoodie has withstood time =)

F21, Styles, Charlotte Ruse all fall apart after 3 wears or so.

I remember Siren, Mariposa, and that one other place.....(man this will bug me, they sell BUM Equipment, Jones Cola, Champs, etc..Darn it!!) had cheap flimsy stuff. Le Chateau was only slightly better. Oh, Zellers too!! LOL. All the kids used to make fun of that place.
