i wish i still had all my silver crown pics of the ones i sold...but the jeans look real to me..

ok, so after looking at the microstitching tags, now I think these might be fake. The silver stitching is diagonal and raised instead of flat and rectangular. And the font on the numbers looks a little too bold.





Also the "Rock your Jeans" text is slanted/tilted, and I think it should be square with the tag.

Finally, if you compare the pics with some other real pocket pics (courtesy of AF):






The stitching on your jeans isn't quite as tight and luminescent. Some of the stitching is a bit muddled. Also, if you look at the white stitching around the black rectangular waistband tag, it's not as clear and distinct (there are 3 rows of stitches on the border instead of 2).

Soooo I think yours are fake. But they are pretty amazing fakes. sorry =(

I have told you from the beginning these are fakes.Just being honest with you from beginning... I sell tons of ROCK & REPUBLIC and i see like 300 to 400 pairs maybe per months. If you need anymore advice feel free to ask me i am here for you and if you want more authenticity checks just ask me i am here....

They are fakes. I have 2 pairs of Beckhams right here (just purchased them brand new yesterday from department store - pink crown size 29, light blue crown size 2 and the microstitch on yours is not real. Rock and Republic's microstitch isn't really a stitch. On EVERY pair of R&Rs I own / have purchased from legitimate department stores, the microstitch is actually like a shiny metallic, perfectly straight line on the tag that is more so imprinted on the tag and has a rubbery texture that one can feel. If you look on the backside of the R&R tags where the "microstitch" is (like the inside of the tag), you will notice that the "microstitch" is NOT stitched through the tag. It is not even really a stitch but an imprint of some sort. Fakes actually have a gray / silver stitched thread - not an imprint - and it is usually not straight. If you are interested in the Beckhams I have, let me know, and I will see if I can cut you a deal and help you out. I also may be able to get the exact model / size you wanted, however, they may be labeled irregular. The two I have now are not irregular but they are not the size and color you wanted. Hey, those are the exact same jeans my friend purchased on EBAY about two weeks ago and received fake ones instead, she also filed a paypal claim. You will definitely get you money back since the seller is no longer a registered user, hope it's soon!

i was watching one of the same pairs in a 25.. i was disappointed that i missed the auction that ended under $100. but from reading this.. i'm kinda glad a missed a fake.

Just going by the crowns themselves I was fooled. I was also following a few of this seller's auctions, but then I saw this thread and deleted all the items.

I probably would, but they don't fit. They are more like a size 27/28 and I'm a 29/30. I'm peeved because as someone mentioned, I paid $100 for fakes that are completely useless to me.

Thank you sooo much amandillete. I can really see the difference now. Looking at my fakes compared to those photos, they have silver stitching, but definantly NOT luminescent like that picture. Also looking at my pink and foam crowns, the crown is noticeably smaller.

Thanks to everyone else as well for helping me out with this, very much appreciated.

check out the construction of the pants usually its a dead give away. there should be no loose threads and no crisscrosssing of threads. The jeans material is a give away also. Hard to tell in the pics. we need better pics.

I think they are real, it could just be the focusing of the camera for the pics as the crowns look pretty good and the holt tag looks real. Try to take pics of the micro stitching with the macro setting on for your digital cam to see better details of the micro stitching.

Be in regards to what you should do, escalate it to a claim right away as the seller is NARU. Ultimately you will neeed a retalier to authenticate your claim of it being fake or you won't win your SNAD claim. And be ready to wait 30 days before you get a decision on your claim. If you paid with Credit Card, just go file a charge back asap. You'll get your money much faster. PayPal just does't suggest that because the CC company gets the money back from PayPal first. But if you paid with CC, filing a charge back is the fastest way to get your money back.
