Ooooh I Black Honey! I've been wearing it since I was 17 (whoa that was a while ago )

But I ran out and they were out of stock when I went to rebuy. Sorry, no picture.

I love that you can layer the intensity of the color depending on your look and mood. And it blends well with so many other lipcolours

I had tried the gloss stick a long time ago, and didn't like it to sheer. Is there a lipstick that isn't as sheer?

I am starting to get those little wrinkles though, you know the ones that go into your lips so sad, I don't think I will ever do injections or anything, but it is a bummer to see tham so soon. Now I am religious about applying the Dermalogica every morning and everning around my lips.

I think and eye shadow one would be fun too. I seem to be stuck in 2 color ruts right now.

Everytime I find a favorite lipstick, or anything for that matter, they get discontinued. I am skeptical of throwing a list of my favorite anything out there in the universe right now. LOL

I have to add that I really like the point that Clinique also has a black honey lip liner that is sheer to go with. That is nice. It's hard to define lips with glosses and sheers.

doh! didn't know about the liner, but LM Chestnut is my 'go to' for any and every lipstick. Chanel's Nude and MAC's Spice are other universal favorites, but I like my LM.

OOO Kenics you are going to break my bank! I haven't purchased good make-up in so long becasue I just don't go anywhere, since this section opened up I am back to my old ways!

I REALLY like the look of the LM chestnut! WOW! What is your skin color, undertones? I like pencils that don't go orange-ish, stay pink/brown with even a hint of purple in them. Is this like that in person?

oh i like this idea would help me out of my rut with lipstick/lipgloss as i always go for the same colours

that is so funny, but the last lipstick I actually bought from them has a slight purplish tone, and they had used the Chestnut liner. The Chestnut is definitely a pink/brown. I used it with my dark reds, well just about every lipstick. It helps me clean up the lip line, but blends into the lips really well.

When I get home, I will look up the lippie that I got, it was like a lip balm, lip gloss & lipstick in one, has a great texture. I looked it up, it is called a Stickgloss and I bought Purple haze. It is almost springtime and I need to dig it out!

I looked it up, the purple haze looks very springtime. Does it have any brown in it at all? The site swatches are always so iffy for me. But man that Black Orchid looks right up my alley! You're killing me. I have to stay out of this section for a while. I've got a $100 make-up wish list from just the last 3 days. CRAP!

m/u is SOOOOOO addicting. I think it will always be my 'first love'

IF you are serious about the LM lipsticks, I would definitely try the counter. On my monitor, the color didn't look the same. Purple Haze is kinda lilac-pinkish, but on me with the chesnut lipliner, it shows up as a very natural lip color. Anything a little lilac-y seems to look good on my lips. My eye wouldn't pick out that color, but when I try it one, it always seem to be the ones that flatter the most.

^ Oh I am serious about lipsticks. It's the one thing I do wear but I lean more towards sheer these days. Any real color and I feel like a 2-bit ho. If I go to the counter I will buy like 5 of them. Been there before. I had a roommate that was a make-up artist, worked for LM, Stila, Estee and a few others as an independant counter artist, and she gave me testers of anything I wanted. It was so NICE!!!

But now I don't go enough places to warrant so much. I rarely even wear it anymore. It's sad really. I collect Jeans, lipsticks, shoes and bikinis. I have to set limits.
