my new LV damier azur speedy 25!

just wanted to share the latest addition to my azur family... i want to get a wallet next, either the koala or zippy organizer to match! i received the speedy last Sat., the pochette accessoires was purchased last December, and the cles was purchased last November, when the line was first launched. i love how pretty and refreshing this line is... i haven't seen it very often around here either.

WHoa!! Those are gorgeous. I was looking for them on elux back in jan and it's still not even up on their website. How much were the speedy?

^ I think the azur speedy is the same price as the mono and damier speedy. $595 for the 25. Not 100% positive though.

Gorgeous!!

You know, i saw some of these up in ebay, of course most of them, are asking way more than retail, but i found it weird when the date codes on some dont add up

Made in France, May 2007?
I also heard talks of LV changing their date code system starting 2007.

In ways that 05 will correspond to the 5th week of 2007.

But that's still off to me, seems that went pretty fast on distribution, we're just in 7th-8th week?

Any thoughts.

It makes sense to me... SD means that the bag was made in the USA, so it's not surprising they will arrive in stores rather quickly.

adinh - you are correct! the azur speedy 25 is $595

jonov1 - elux will get azur bags, but they are usually sold out right away. i was lucky because i was on purseforum late one night, and a fellow member alerted everyone that there's a few in stock. so, i went on elux and got my speedy 25... which was also the last one. i've heard some boutiques are starting to get a few in, and they'll call the people on the waitlists. i'm sure there will be more coming in, as these bags seem to be in demand.

purseforum in LV, closed for maintenance..

I just asked her to post more pics. But I dont think I can buy from ebay that are not reputable sellers (my poupette, let-trade, etc) anymore.

Some fakes got the patina on LV down pat now, these fakes will actually turn honey!! Thats just GrRRR!!

I heard the same thing too. The date codes have just recently changed to reflect what you said. So instead of the month it is the week that the bag is produced now.
