(edit)

the best i have found are express and banana republic. express runs longer and has spandex but only has 3 colors. im afraid the BR ones will shrink in length making them unwearable.

aa shirts shrink over an inch in length when you dry them, sometimes almost 2 inches. they are not pre-shrunk which is why they are cut longer to allow for the shrinkage.

try BDG at Urban Outfitters.

i got a ton a couple months ago for $4.99 each.. i got like 8 solid tees.

H&M has them for $5.90 always and they fit really well and don't shrink bad.

AA shirts shrink a ton as Jskidder said.

ive only bought 2 or three AA shirts and they didnt seem to shrink that much but they could of been washed by the person that i bought them from or when they were dryed after printing.r. either way AA standard tees are either too short or too wide(inbetween sizes)except for the ringer tees which seem to fit better. i will check out BDG and i wish i had a local H&M. Thanks so far!

do you dry them on low? that could make them shrink less. and i find bdg shirts to be shorter than aa, not sure about h&m though cause i've never had anything from there. the bdg are pretty crappy from my experience with the ones i've had. after a few washes they pill very badly, probably because they are cotton/poly blend. i usually have to toss them after a few months and replace them.

Cotton/Poly is stinky, ech

American Eagle has some really nice ringer tees for about $12.50. They are also long, which is nice for people who have long torsos.

BDG shirts are shorter than AA but have longer sleeves. Hard to imagine the AA T's being too long for you though since they're quite long, especially after a wash. Why don't you get the AA ringer T's and wash/dry them to shrink the length a bit?

i've bought one BDG shirt from urban outfitters once and will never again. the quality was absolute SHITE. it was like a hanes undershirt. it does have a slim fit like AA, but the quality of the material is so bad that the way the shirt drapes and falls on you looks shite.

I think gap's favorite tee is good quality and some of the styles are quite long.

Nordstrom sells a brand, halogen, I think, very long and soft and fitted. Great for layering.

I think C&C makes a longer tee. C&C is not under $20 so I'd check eBay for one.

I LOVE Victoria Secret t's!!! I think that most of their clothes are crappy quality, but I LOVE the t's! I also have a long torso, and these hit me just at the belt. Bunch of colors, cute slim fit and they're only 12.50! love em

yeah i have kind of long torso i think. i might have to resort to the ringer although i would rather have a classic T. thanks for the suggestions everyone. I think i have enought to go off of.

If A&F makes t-shirts that fit like their muscle fit polos, that might be what you're looking for... I have a couple polos and they're a bit long but slim fitting.

Do you have Garage? AA does not fit me well but Garage is perfect.

Because Abercrombie loves to sell items without their logo plastered upon them.

These are the best tees ever made; slim-fitting, high armholes, short sleeves, perfect length, and excellent quality:

Haha, sorry, I actually don't ever go in there...

You could try to get the logos off, but I guess then it wouldn't be worth it...

the best i have found locally are express and banana republic. express(stretch crew) runs longer and has spandex but only has 3 colors(black, heather grey, and white). im afraid the BR ones will shrink in length making them unwearable. the SA said they were preshrunk but im not sure and they are 100% cotton.

I think it really depends on the person because there are some differences when it comes to brands but also brands have tons of difference styles when it comes to plain t-shirts. I personally like Gilden and Hanes for brands. Best part about these brands is you they are great quality but there plain t-shirts are way inexpensive.
