LOST is BACK! - Page 2

I love it just for the pleasure of watching it, I'm not trying to figure it out all the time, I just like it! That being said, I AM pleased w/myself when I spot things.

It's one of the few shows I watch. I just started watching it around November of last year through downloading episodes, renting/buying the dvd's and I just caught up in time for the new ones to start. Last nights was pretty interesting at least giving us an idea of how the others ended up there.

The cliffhangers and ambiguity are what make the show good. You get a chance to think and use your imagination, sorry to hear people like everything placed out for them and have it solved in an hour like the CSI's and Law & Orders, and well almost everything else on TV.

^^^I agree

Last night's episode was EXCELLENT. It's about damn time they picked things up in season 3! Those first few episodes were lacking in just about everything!!!

I respectfully disagree... Season 3 has been fantastic from the start while Season 2 was lacking and dragged shit out until the end.

It was creepy as hell what they were doing to Carl.

Seriously, you should see the film "a Clockwork Orange" / (Stanley Kubrick )I wouldn't be suprised if that was an inspiration or a reference of some sort...

Gosh darn it I missed it again?? I'm an idiot I LOVE that show!!

OHH I seen a clockwork orange and LOVED it, yeah its similar hehehe

I agree about season 2 dragging on. The first half at least of that season was so boring. I DON'T CARE ABOUT SUN LOSING HER GODDAMN RING.
Sun is a LIAR! hahaha

I'll check that movie begret! It was also mentioned on this podcast I listened to earlier.

Watch it on ABC.com
I think they have all of season 3 so far, and the recap so you can get up to speed.
VERY good episode I thought

Hey, it it just me or did anyone else notice that the Mittleos Bioscience guy looked like he was wearing a great deal of eye makeup?

Prob just 'man eyelashes' And you should rent "A Clockwork Orange" I had to wait until I was 17, It came out in 1971 and was rated x at first, so I had to wait until 77 to actually see it! I had read the book years before tho.

I love LOST! I never watched it in Season 1 but watched the whole thing in a week, before Season 2 started. This week's episode was great! I loved how they gave us some more background on Desmond's wife. I found her annoying until I saw what her life was like before she got to the island.
Desmond's wife Penny? or are you talking about Juliet (its her episode)?
OH! I thought Juliet was Desmond's wife, no??? I could've sworn in one flashback episode where Desmond was telling her that he was going to sail around the world, the woman was Juliet.
Nope nope...that's Penny who is Desmond's gf/exgf/lover

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh! Thanks for clearing that one up.
I am confused and I like it...damn it haha
post #44 of 288
I agree! I think it was a neat episode. I am so excited already to see next weeks episode.
I thought I had a pretty good grasp of what's going on until tonight...lol

Was Desmond having a flashback? Or did he go back in time and had a flashback of a flashback? wtf? hahaha

The producers said there would be no time travel...umm ok?
I don't think he went back in time, but rather it was more of an explaination of what is going on with his "powers", and that no matter what you try to do to change the future, it will still end up happening (like hopefully Charlie's future demise).

I read that basically all the survivors are kinda time traveling when we get their flashbacks. The island is giving them the chance to maybe change their past. While there lives are going on in the island they are also....uhh...just read it here E! - Kristin's Blog - Lost Redux: Are You Freaking Out, or What?! - But then wasn't the whole point of the episode that you can't change your fate? Whatever you were destined for will happen whether you like it or not. It's a pretty neat concept. I don't know what you guys think but I love this show. Sometimes it seems confusing at first but if you really think about it and see some additional episodes, you totally get it.
The other survivor's flashbacks are far different than what happened to Desmond. Desmond's "flashback" felt like it was present and he had a choice to change things.

I'm still confused but the producers said there will be no time travel in LOST in one of their podcast and I hope that's true because that would be rather cheesy. This isn't Star Trek...lol

I resisted watching Lost when it first started thinking that it wouldn't last. Boy was I wrong! After Netflixing the 5 seasons of Alias I found out that the guy that made Alias also did Lost. Needless to say, I am addicted! I'm already half way through the second season and TiVOing the 3rd (trying not to watch the 3rd season till i've finished the 2nd, but its soooo hard!)

Kinda off topic... but I saw an article saying that Kate and Charlie are engaged! You are never able to look at characters the same way when you know that they are envolved.
