what is that picture suppose to be about? also, why hasn't richard aged at all? I am thinking maybe 'Jacob' is the island or something like that. Ben just got jealous of Locke because he spoke to him when he was the only one that was suppose to hear him or something.... like that.

That picture IS Jacob! That scene was pretty damn creepy I missed it the first time I watched it



Maybe the Island has some fountain youth or something. It's apparent that the producers wants us to think that the natives don't age at all since they could have gotten a younger Richard Alpert otherwise.


Jenn, LOST is like Meerkat Manor? I don't watch the show but how so? Is that a good thing..lolz


edit: Maybe the key to talking/seeing Jacob is that you have to kill your father first?

ohhhhhhhh, that bearded guy freaked me out!!!! I only saw him for a second and didn't even know if I'd seen anything... that's why it was cool!

yeah i saw him for the flash second too.. I am still in shock.. 24 hours later and yes shock is the right word

and I like Merkat Manor.. but I get to attached and when the baby died in season one when they had to move homes and they forgot about him out there I nearly lost it..

i wanted to scream to the producers go run pick him up and save him now.. I am such a softee

ok back to lost....

i think locke will live too.. but if no one ages on the island then ben would not have grown up.. i think richard being that age was to reflect not that much time had passed.. and the dad only looked super old from his lifestyle of depression and booze

Hmmm...Jacob looks a lot like Locke, doesn't he?

I think maybe the original inhabitants don't age...since Ben was initially part of the Dharma Initiative that's why he's aging, and Richard as a native hasn't.

I think that the ending is going to SUCK no matter how they end it. The mystery of the show is what makes the show GREAT...end that mystery and it will suck. PERIOD. Oh well not like I can prevent myself from watching either

Actually with the ending date being set, they have the story worked out, so I'm sure they'll answer all our questions . . . if not I'm sure the "definitve LOST dvd box set" or whatever will have more interviews with the creators then one would care to watch

they have already set the ending.. so its been decided and now they know exactly where they are going.. in the end all of our questions will be answered. they said that was the problem last year no clear direction.. so set an ending pick a path gain back viewers.. and that is what they are doing.
