They had small sizes as of Friday. I ordered a pair of 29x30 from the NY Diesel (on Lexington). Great Deal!

Do you know if they had more 29x30? Also, any idea how much it cost for them to do a charge send?

I don't know if they had more in that size--I ordered over the phone. If they don't, they should be able to check other stores across the country.

A charge-send costs $12 for ~3 day shipping.

Oh man.... i REALLY want a pair of 29x30 70C's too! Can a friendly American help me out? I'm stuck here in Canada... and I don't think the Diesel stores do ship-sales, or whatever the term is.

Do you mean they don't do ship sales to Canada?

STAY AWAY FROM A RETAIL STORE SEND. Trust me. have you ever had somthing go through customs yet. If not, you will be in for a suprise. Taxes at the price you paid for the jeans is not the problem, but duties and customs fees. I have been nailed for almost a %40 duty on my first pair of Diesels I got form a retail outlet. Regular USPS isnt bad ( only a $5 handling fee) but Fedex,UPS, and DHL are BRUTAL.

If you go through a seller who can mark the goods value low ( ie say that you paid like $20 for the jeans on the customs forms) then you wont get nailed. Retail stores wont do this as it is illegal. but small time sellers and members on here could help you out.

The only other option is to use a shipping service that pays for the duties/customs BEFORE they hit the border. UPS has an option for that as well as Fedex. To be safe, I wiould go through a small time seller or ask a member here to pick them up for you and toss them a couple of bucks for them to send them to you..

yeah customs suck.
Had to pay $60 or $70 duty for a pair of farcos

Wow! I didn't realize this was the case. Seems just a wee bit excessive.
