Question on apc

Do non-water exposed a.p.c new standards shrink when soaked? If so, do they stretch back out after wear? Im thinking about buying a pair in 25 (Im 26 in Diesel) and I fear they will shrink to fit me (after soaking), then stretch out to be unwearable. If it helps, I like my jawns tight!

Thanks!
~Dave

You'll have to size down more than that if you want a good fit dave. Size down 2 if you want them slim and 3 if you want them tight, or 1 and 2 respectively with new cure. They'll shink a little bit when soaked but not much and they will stretch out with wear. Note that APCs do not need to be soaked before wearing. I'd reccommend you give NS a shot at 3 sizes down for a tight look and don't get them wet for 6 months.

I'm pretty sure that you can get New Standard in sizes 24 and up, at least that is what they have available on the website (A.P.C.). Another option that would be good for you is the Petit Standard cut it comes sizes 24 and is similar to the New Standard just a little slimmer in all areas. If I had to guess I'd say this is the right cut for you. I'm pretty sure with PS you size down 1 for slim and 2 for tight.

The fit is still pretty good. I wear 26 in diesels too but only the tightest washes fit perfectly for me. I absolutely can't wear any size down pairs and the regular ones are alright on me.

Recently got a pair of new cures in 25. It's not painted on me but then again I don't like them ball cleaving tight anyway. So far they have stretched from 14" aligned to about 14.6"~ in the waist. I'll post some better pictures, the two that I have right now have a black couch in the background so you can't really see >_>

They say that apcs generally stretch from 2-3 inches... but then again they only stretch if there is tension. The waist might be a tiny bit bigger than you like at the end but who knows I've only had them for a few days.

Will BUY: MATIC 81m sz24

Actually remeasured, waist aligned is now at 14.85". So it stretched from 14" to 14.85". They are pretty comfortable now. I'm thinking at most they'll stretch to about 15" which isn't bad for sagging.

Will post up pictures when I get back.

I don't have a camera, just the one on my phone... I'm like about 5'4, 115 lbs. These are new cures in 25. When I first got them, I had to pull them all the way up... further than I've ever had to or wanted to in order to button them. They were like practically hugging my balls. The slimmest part of my waist is about 28" so I was actually able to button all of them >_>;

A lot of people advise to get them so you are unable to button up the last one or two buttons but I don't think its physically impossible for me to find pants like that lol. But yah I really like how they look right now, its like thanaz without the butt sag. The only thing is the knee bulge.

And one last thing I'm asian so... NO I will not wear shoes in my house.

Lol, really crappy pics!!!! But I really like the wash and fit!!! I think I'd go for a 24 in those but, the 25's look pretty killer on you. I'm pretty surprised that your not sagging that much (like tons of ppls on hf tend to do) If I ever sell my Zathans I have listed in the mall the first purchase will be apc petite standards in 24!! Thanks for pics tho!

Yeah I was thinking about 24 in PS black. The black ones are also not suppose to stretch as much so if you're trying to go for that killer tight look... just that black doesn't fade as crazily as the indigo i think?

I actually like the color of the raw indigos. The website has them kind of greenish... but theyre more like blueish with a hint of grey/whiteish? Almost kind of wish they wouldn't fade haha. Maybe ill get another pair that I won't wear as much to keep the raw look =P

This is when I first got them. I think it shows the color better than the website.
