i need a new iPod - I also don't like the mockups 925 and macrumors have posted of the nano - I hope touch isn't toooo expensive!

i still dont know why everyone is calling the rumored nano update the fatpod or what have you.
its not any wider or thicker in any mockups or spy shots ive seen. just shorter. sure its BMI is a little higher now, but its not quite fat.

This is not the credited response.
Apple has never announced new iPod generations and not come out with them the same day. They day they announced the discontinuation of the mini and the nano - nano was in stores. Video? Same deal. They don't want a day where people stop buying iPods because of an official Apple announcement.

Maybe there wont even be a ipod "phatty". Its all speculation till tomrorow!!!!!
And hopefully with the announcements, the ipods will also be released on the same date (Sept 5). Nothing is for sure with Jobs since he's so tight lipped, but if apple follows their history, according to Avatar, then we should see new ipods for sale tomrorow. YAY!
