Valentine’s Day Outfit Ideas

It’s Valentine’s Day in just a few days and that means it’s time to think of some outfits to go with the theme. Since red and pink play such a huge role where love is concerned, each of our looks include the colours in one way or another. There are three ladies looks and one guys outfit, but one of them contains no denim at all, while the others do. What do you plan on wearing for Valentine’s Day?

Jonathan’s Look

Valentine’s Day is when most men don’t mind dressing up for their ladies. I wanted to keep the look easy as most of us men don’t like feeling too fussy, while still feeling smart. I chose a pair of Rag & Bone jeans as my choice in denim. As Valentine’s Day is all about red, I chose a blazer by Balenciaga to wear with a shirt and shoes by Saint Laurent. I then finished it all off with a tie by Lanvin to help pull the whole look together.

Jennifer’s Look

For my Valentine’s day outfit I wanted to style something that was really feminine and girly. I chose these white J Brand Jeans because the white wash looks great when paired with pink. I chose this Nina Ricci blouse because I think the lace detailing and color gives the whole look a really romantic vibe. For shoes I chose these Aquazzura Shoes since the details are really fun and remind me of fishnet stockings. I added a bit of metallic with this Clutch from Stella McCartney and then opted for a bit more color with these pink Oasis earrings. I finished the look with a pop of red with this Nars lipstick.

Lorna’s Look

This is my look for Valentine’s Day and one that I actually plan on wearing, well one that’s very similar. I chose the AG Adriano Goldschmied Stilt jeans in Burgundy to go with this Topshop Red Heart Shirt. I love the idea of playing with lots of shades of red to celebrate Valentines, so I layered a Carven Burgundy Blazer over the top. This actually works because of the different textures, structures, prints and shades, so it doesn’t look like a suit. For the shoes, I wanted to go with a classic black and opted for the Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 in Black. I thought the outfit needed a little more colour though so I chose gold accessories to go with it, like this Kotur Gold Clutch and this Kate Spade Love Ring. I really like how this turned out! Which outfit do you like the most?
