Pixie Lott was seen arriving at LAX Airport in Los Angeles, California last week. She looked cute and comfortable, perfect for traveling! Pixie was wearing a Wrangler denim waistcoat which is part of their Spring/Summer 2011 collection and will be available from Topshop or ASOS for £85 in March.
I like that the waistcoat/vest is a really pale shade of light blue, it makes a change to the normal medium or dark blue we often see. I’m not so sure on the shoes with the outfit but they definitely match Pixie’s style. I didn’t think the waistcoat would look good paired with sweat pants either, but I was suprised to see it does.
Wrangler held an event at The Northern Pub in Manchester, England for Turkey Day. At the event celebs such as Brooke Vincent, Jody Latham, Marlon McKenzie, and Bez all came down to check out what Wrangler had to offer and for some of the free Wild Turkey Whisky cocktails.
At the event guest were able to browse through the Autumn/Winter Collection while listening the live acoustic versions of Kid British. This was a the last of the “Local Heroes” events held by Wrangler. They also took over Whisky Mist in London as well as Mahiki in London and Dublin. How many of you readers attended any of the Wrangler parties?
Indiana Jones Harrison Ford was spotted out and about in Brentwood, California grabbing a coffee and running some errands. We have never featured Harrison on DenimBlog before so I thought it would make a nice change. I absolutely adore the Indiana Jones movies, they are some of my favourites!
Harrison was wearing an old pair of Wrangler jeans which he paired with a brown leather flying style jacket, a black t-shirt, sunglasses and black loafers. I can’t believe he is 68 already! He’s still looking really good for his age! Are any of you a fan of Harrison and his movies?

The second Wrangler Stop Thinking event was held on October 30th 2010. Wrangler challenged four thrill-seekers to take part in a Drag Race at Santapod Raceway, rocketing down the 1/4 mile track in just 8 seconds. This is the latest in a series of adrenaline-fuelled challenges that Wrangler have been hosting. Their Stop Thinking campaign encompasses Wrangler’s brand ethos, encouraging us to throw caution to the wind and run with our instincts.
For Saturday’s Drag Race, Wrangler’s Facebook followers had been asked to guess the activity from a cryptic clue, then to reveal their racing name (eg Bob ‘The Bullet’ Jackson) and finally to explain, why are you in such a hurry? From these answers, four speed demons won their seat in a Drag Car.
Along with having their adrenaline levels dialed up to 11, each seat winner enjoyed full VIP treatment at Santa Pod race track in Northamptonshire and were kitted out in Wrangler’s cool contemporary autumn winter jeans. Wrangler’s next wild event is being prepped now, so stay in touch via the Facebook group.
