Tori Spelling was photographed while doing some Halloween costume shopping in Los Angeles. I have the feeling Tori gets super in to Halloween like Heidi Klum and probably goes all out!
While out, Tori wore a cropped Wrangler denim vest over a floral printed dress and black ankle booties. This vest looks like it may be vintage or has been updated a bit, because it has a white pompom style boarder on the hem of the jacket. I don’t really like that addition and think the vest would look better without the trim. You can shop for denim vests online from Shopbop.com.
Wrangler has launched their Born Ready Adventures campaign, designed to inspire everyday adventures, just one hour away from the city. The campaign will see the introduction of Wrangler’s latest Ready products, featuring stylishly innovative water-resistant and winter-warming jeans that give wearers the freedom to transition seamlessly from work and city life to the great outdoors. You saw these in the latest Look Book that we featured yesterday. Follow the adventures on social media with #BornReadyAdventures.
Inspired by these products, Wrangler has teamed up with renowned adventurer Alastair Humphreys to create interactive online maps featuring guides to adventures in and around London, Manchester and Edinburgh in the UK, plus key cities in Germany and Poland. Users can refine their search to match the type of adventure they prefer, whether it’s cycling to the top of the highest local peak or a forest walk with friends. Wrangler will be encouraging users to upload their own Born Ready Adventures to the online map with the chance to win a host of prizes.
Wrangler’s partnership with Alastair Humphreys, explorer and pioneer of the ‘microadventure’ concept, will bring the initiative to life through a series of Born Ready Adventure films, which include top tips on how to prepare for everyday adventures. The series will also see lifestyle blogger Kamil Pawelski and German actor and presenter Jochen Schropp join Alastair to discover experiences in the great outdoors just outside the city limits.
Kamil and Alastair kick off the series, leaving the hustle and bustle of the city and journeying into more scenic surroundings just one hour away. Alastair comments: “You can find an adventure really close to home, wherever you live – escape the city and do something beautiful, different and new”. The film sees the pair roll up their jeans and attempt to float a handmade raft before heading off into the forest to set up camp. Kamil adds “It’s great as you can do all these activities without changing your clothes, just finish your job, pack your bag and head into the forest to make your own adventure”.
German actor Jochen Schropp and Alastair embark on an action packed adventure after just a short train journey out of the city. The film captures the pair on a scenic costal bike ride to the beach followed by a refreshing swim in the sea. Jochen comments “It is incredible if you think what you can see and experience just by travelling one hour out of the city. Just on your door step are beautiful meadows, forests and even lakes perfect for swimming in – I dare you”.
This campaign brings to life Wrangler’s Born Ready philosophy – a commitment to creating innovative denim products that add value to the lives of the wearer… City dwellers who love to escape to the outdoors whenever they get the chance, wearing products that help them transition easily from city to country, from work to adventure, all without compromising on style.
Iconic denim brand, Wrangler has unveiled their look book for the Fall Winter 2015 season, called The Ready Collection – featuring durable, weather-defying products built to last. The new season features three collections:
– Rain Ready; with water-resistant denim that features an invisible coating on the outside, which keeps splashes of water from penetrating the fabric
– Cold Ready; a unique range of clothing woven with the insulating fibre Thermolite®
– Shape Ready; nuanced with incredible stretch recovery
I think waterproof denim is something that could be incredibly useful. There’s nothing worse than going out in the rain and getting your jeans soaking wet and feeling really heavy. I’m quite excited to see how the waterproof jeans work out! Are you? You can see the look book shots below.
Kate Bosworth was photographed while filling up her car with gas in LA. Kate wore a vintage Wrangler denim shirt with cactus embroidered on it, paired with a white tank top and MiH Bonn jeans in Bowie Sateen.
I love how intricate the details on this shirt are and how unique it is! We’ve seen Kate in a lot of denim shirts lately but I am surprised we haven’t seen her in one from the Jacquie Aiche x Mother collaboration yet!
