David Beckham was spotted in a shearling collared denim jacket by ACNE last month while on a stroll in London. While the piece that the soccer star wore is no longer available, there is no need to fret. Swedish brand WeSC has a style that carries the same vibe that will keep you warm for the next few months.
Their Hook Denim Jacket comes in a raw denim that is perfect for the season and given the shearling treatment with the lining and collar. The great thing about the piece is that it is an affordable piece at the utmost quality, so it is not one that you will be disappointed with. It is definitely a jacket that I am interested in trying myself. You can get the jacket now from WeSC from their site for $60.
WeSC is now on its 15th year and the Spring 2015 Collection is a celebration of coming of age, honouring the brands history and heritage by paying tribute to its hometown, Stockholm, and its native Sweden. Here you can see all of the denim images from the brands new Spring Summer 2015 Look Book.
Attention to detail, premium materials and supreme fit are keywords for this season, showcasing the first complete collections of new designers Natalia Altewai, Randa Saome and Mattias Sahlin. The Women’s Collection for Spring 2015 is heavily influenced by WeSC history; the Icon, the street sense and a certain casual feeling is very present. The inspiration comes from modern street lifestyle, how women live today, and how they interpret and express themselves in the street.
The different features introduced in the Women’s Fall ’14 Capsule are further explored, neoprene-like materials accentuate volume and provide a cool expression, while light, draping materials and knits give a softer, more casual look. Muted pastels signal summer, and combined with black, navy and dark green accents, also a feminine assertiveness essential for the WeSC woman.
The color palette for Men’s Spring ÔÇÿ15 is heavy on the blues, celebrating the king of colors; Indigo. A splash of muted reds add color, as well as some soft washed-out yellows and greens. The graphics focus on Swedish flora and fauna, infused with highly symbolic flatbed mopeds and classic Volvo cars.
One of the key prints this season, The Sarek Hawaii, gets its name from one of the oldest National Parks in Europe, the Sarek National Park, located in Swedish Lapland – welcome to Sweden – home of the Superlative Conspiracy. The collection will be available in more than 25 countries globally and at wesc.com
I feel like WeSC is going to be more popular with the male celebs, maybe even some of the women will be caught in them. They make some really great washes for their jeans that are very wallet friendly. You can click here to check out their styles on their website.
Zac Efron was snapped sporting a mustache as he made his way through LAX Airport in Los Angeles, California. He’s finished all his The Lucky One promotional duties, but is now off to Cannes to promote The Paper Boy.
Zac wore his trusty WeSC skinny jeans for the flight. I think these are actually a raw pair, I wonder how they are breaking in? Also, what do you all think of his mustache? I’m never a big fan of them and I think he looks better without one, but he does look good with stubble! I think how he looked in The Lucky One with shorter hair and lots of stubble was the best I have ever seen him look. Buy WeSC online at their website here.
