LOOK BOOK: Washborn Spring 2013
Here is a look at the brand new Spring/Summer 2013 Look Book from Washborn. The brand have chosen to use a Native American theme throughout, which I think they captured really well, however I know it can be quite controversial using people’s culture and religion for fashion, as I have seen before. The way everything is portrayed though is light and gentle, so I really hope it gets a good response.
My favourite photo would have to be the one above where they captured the bubbles in the foreground, that’s something unique that we don’t often see in Look Books!
For their new styles, Washborn have chosen to go back to the 90′s with faded denim, overalls, printed denim and lots more. I think overalls may be getting popular again! We just recently spotted Heidi Klum in them and we have seen a few other celebs sporting their denim overalls recently, however, I don’t know if it will really take off. What do you think? I love the fresh new styles that are featured in this collection though, I think Washborn have done a great job! Which are your favourite pieces?
Kim Kardashian in Washborn Coated Jeggings in Black
Kim Kardashian was spotted doing some shopping with boyfriend Kanye West at Neiman Marcus in Woodland Hills, California. She wore a pair of Washborn Coated Jeggings in Black for the shopping trip with a hoodie. This is probably the most normal I have seen Kim dress. Even with the boots, it is pretty casual for Kim.
This mall is literally a few minutes away from where I live. It bums me out a bit that on the many days that I don’t go there (I order everything), Kanye decides to make a trip to my local mall. I’m not one of those rabid fans that stalk the celebrities, but I think it is nice to see them act normal. Well…I doubt that this might be his last trip there though. Here is the brand new Fall 2012 Look Book from Washborn. The Korean brand is growing more popular by the day with the likes of Kim Kardashian being a fan and some top clothing retailers like ASOS stocking it.

Kim Kardashian in Washborn & Christopher Kane
I first saw a photo of Kim Kardashian in this outfit (with her mum in neon yellow) on Instagram this morning and I fell in love! I’m so glad the paps snapped these of her as she left a production office in Los Angeles, California.
Kim wore her Washborn waxed black skinny jeans with (my favourite) the Christopher Kane Crepe biker jacket in Neon Orange and some Louboutin Daffodil heels. I think this is possibly my favourite outfit that Kim has ever worn… I was obsessed with the neon pink version of this jacket back in January, but I think I may like the orange version better now!
