True Religion Jeans
True Religion has recently debuted their new men’s Selvedge denim styles just in time for the Fall season. The thick and durable raw denim (I don’t think it’s raw entirely as it has faded/whiskered areas) is constructed into slim and straight fits with clean pocket detailing. For those of you who love the plain pockets, these are the True Religion jeans for you! No horse shoe embroidery at all!
These new Selvedge jeans are handmade in the USA on vintage looms and the rich indigo denim is built to last. The brand say they are an affordable investment, priced at $198 for the slim fit and $218 for the straight leg version. What do you think guys?
With October around the corner, True Religion has brought out their annual Breast Cancer Awareness jeans again. In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness month, True Religion has released the Halle jean in a pastel blush with lightly imprinted white ribbons.
These jeans are not only perfect for this Fall’s muted patterned denim trend, but they are for a great cause. True Religion will donate 10% of the retail sales to Susan G. Komen with a guaranteed minimum donation of $35,000. How amazing is that? I think the jeans are adorable and they are actually one of my favourite BCA jeans they have ever released! The Halle jean is priced at $198 and is available in stores nationwide and online. Will you be buying them and supporting the cause?
Here is the brand new True Religion Fall/Winter 2013 campaign! It was released 2 days ago and has now gone worldwide. These shots feature both men’s and women’s looks and are in the classic black and white. You can read about the campaign from True Religion below and you can also see the 12 photos in the gallery below!
The True Religion ’13 campaign captures the renegade spirit of the quintessential American icon, inspired by the defiant allure of Steve McQueen and the captivating beauty of Ali McGraw in the classic film, “The Getaway”. The creative team, including photographer Mikael Jansson, stylist Alastair McKimm and creative director Alisha Goldstein, craft a compelling narrative of the rebellious American spirit. The campaign, starring Karmen Pedaru and Gavin Jones, was shot on a vast stretch of California desert, and features striking portraiture set against a cinematic horizon. The resulting images resonate with provocative honesty.
The rugged, lived-in styling of the campaign reinforces True Religion’s evolving design direction. Modern all-white and denim-on-denim looks are transformed into deconstructed essentials that get even better with wear. Contemporary silhouettes are toughened up with a rock & roll attitude and a nod to the American west. Focused and directional styling emphasizes the brand’s timeless denim and leather items, upholding True Religion’s reputation as a go-to brand for quality fashion essentials.
Here is the brand new Spring 2013 True Religion Kids campaign which launched yesterday. You can see the shoot in the video above and you can also see the finalised campaign images in the gallery below.
The photos were shot by Dominick Guillemot at the Smashbox Studios in Culver City, California. Robyn Goldberg was on hand to be the stylist for the day as well. I think it looks really fun and full of happiness! Do you like seeing the children’s campaigns?
