True Religion Autumn/Winter 2012 Ad Campaign
This is the new Fall/Winter 2012 ad campaign from True Religion which launched a little while ago on Tuesday July 10th. Following the launch of the Spring/Summer 2012 campaign that introduced us to four distinctive personalities – the bohemian, the wanderer, the maverick, and the rebel – this season continues the story with a broader exploration of what it means to be an American.
“This season, I was inspired by the spirit of America and the unique style that the country embodies. The FW12 collection stays true to self-expression and individuality while continuing to exude the integrity of American design.” said Jeff Lubell, founder and CEO of True Religion.
FW12 pulls from the heritage of America, reinventing classic styles. It is a nod to the past that takes inspiration from the timeless appeal of American design. The models in the campaign are Emily Didonato and Ryan Heavyside. It was shot by Nino Munoz and styled by Katie Mossman on location in Los Angeles, California. You can also see the campaign video below which is set to the song Chickenblood by Bradleyboy Mac Arthur.
Mila Kunis in Denim for Interview Magazine
Mila Kunis graces the cover of the new August 2012 issue of Interview Magazine. She was styled in quite a bit of denim ranging from custom shorts, Levi’s, Rag & Bone, DKNY, and True Religion.
There are many great pieces in this shoot which is why I wanted to feature it. Those True Religion Casey Suede pants (above), the Rag & Bone Skinny in Rock with Holes (photo 2), and the Gaultier jacket (photo 4) are the standout pieces for me. You can see the rest of the shoot below.
True Religion Presents The Legend of Kid Corduroy
True Religion has released a short video to promote their latest color corduroy collection. The new lightweight corduroy comes in Limeaid, bright cherry, pineapple and white (women’s styles). They come in the men’s Geno Slim and Ricky Straight, which retail for $189 as well. Women’s styles include Jodie Skinny and Brooklyn crop, which retail for $180.
True Religion Spring/Summer 2012 Ad Campaign
Here is the Spring/Summer 2012 ad campaign from True Religion. It launched in mid January and it looks very American. The story behind the seasonal campaign took a new direction this season, with more heart behind it. They really feel this campaign, which tells a True American story, captures their brands DNA and heritage. It follows 4 different strong personalities on their journey into the West – The Wanderer, The Maverick, The Bohemian, and The Rebel.
The Female Models were Alicia Rountree (Wanderer), Tallulah Morton (Bohemian), Julia Dunstall (Maverick) and the Male Model was Brad Kroenig (The Rebel). They were shot by photographer, Alexi Lubomirski. You can see the campaign photos in the gallery below and you can also watch the behind the scenes campaign video.
